When I talk about being smarter, I mean being on a level of debate that I can't follow.
In my view, then, it would seem like, if some kind of "flame war" happens, that they're bashing eachother for no apparent reason, because I'm not smart enough to understand that reason.
The line between insanity and being a genious is not very thick in the perspective of the common man.

Oh, I don't particularly care, I haven't posted in that thread for ages.
It just seems strange that it was closed suddenly.
A new thread shouldn't be a reason to close the old one: either the new thread is on different material and therefore no justification for closing the old one, or if it is the same material then the new thread is a duplicate, no?

I mean it's not like I didn't try enough to convince you to either back up your points, or not post personal attacks at all. But I suppose there's no reasoning with some people.

Maybe if mirroring is the only counterpoint you can think of, it might be best to just stop arguing and take a short break away from the keyboard?

What counterpoint? There is no counterpoint you can make, when all he says is some generic response that can be used for ANYTHING.
Why should I make more arguments, so they can get ignored further?
This is what I've tried before resorting to mirrors, for the past 6 months or so.

By him? Good thing they're not HCMs and others can look at the arguments, even if they disagree with them. But frankly I was starting to get sick of his "generic" responses. So I used the only method which is as clear as sky.
