I don't know about everyone else, but...
I think this Mighty Alliance Tournament is a logistical nightmare... I have to admit that I haven't put much effort into organizing anything with my Veteran-partner, but I cannot forsee this competition being a success.
There are just too many different timezomes and personal issues to make a simple 2-on-2 game...simple! It is very difficult trying to arrange any training with my Veteran-partner, let alone trying to play an actual game against opponents.
I don't know about everyone else, but I think I will have to back out. Sorry tigris, but I at least wanted to be upfront with you, instead of just remaining quiet & ignoring the Mighty Alliance.
It was, and remains, a good idea  ...but I have to face the facts! I really don't think I could manage to play a single game in this tournament, let alone a whole bunch...sorry!

To be honest, i can see all of you guys rarely in the zone. If u donīt show up there, u canīt play there..
I have made a couple of games with my partner *Griaus* in the last weeks. We always played 2vs2 allied against comp allied on jebus template, just for the fact we could see each others moves. (We didnīt finish all the games, but played 2 or 3 weeks to see how the system works...)
We tried with fortress, castle and yesterday with necro.
And he learned how easy one can break into the middle treasure area on day 1 week 3 with ONLY 20 vamplords in your army and nothing else.. (who needs those skellies anyway..)....Those Golddragons were easy prey... ...especially with Galthran level 18  (But to be honest, the next guards were 27 devils and they moraled me to death...i had only 5 spellpoints, so i suicided against them..)
So if i would see some of you in the zone, iīm always happy to play a game like that. We also could play a game on more difficult templates like the one from Stefan.
Just show up in the zone and we get the games going...

I understand what you mean, but going in the zone to wait is not my style.
I need to plan it out before because my life is on a schedule and I just can't sit in the zone for awhile until someone shows up.
When I do that, I end up playing a ToH or WW game with someone I don't even know and getting my @$$ kicked.
So, for this to work, we should make preperations and arrangements in this thread. I already put a challenge out there...

You never fail to amaze me, man!If i can (still) read correct(due to shock) you defeated pack maybe lots(usual amount of guards to middle area, so just a guess) of goldies with only 20 VL !!Galthran lvl 18+some arts from your starting area couldn't have more than 15 to each stat maybe 20 for defense.What spells did you had? Orb of vulnerability present?
Please tell more!

Map was Jebus template, XL no under.
There were 18 Golddragons, 7 stacks, guarding the entrance to the middle treasure zone.
Day of fight was week 3 day 3.
Galthran was Level 18. His stats were 15-9-9-10
(only artifact he got was sword of hellfire, attack +6, Helm of Chaos, knowledge +3, and Necklace of swiftness, +1speed)
Galthran had the following skills:
Necro expert
Offense expert
Path expert
Tactics expert
Earth expert
Armorer expert
Archery advanced
I went into the fight with only 5 spellpoints left...too far away from home...no wizards well near....so what..
And the fight is easier than it sounds...at least with tactics:
During tactic formation, i have placed my vamplords to the very left bottom corner of the battlefield (no war machines present). I had only 6 points, so only 1 spell could be casted. This for sure would be shield.
My spellpower was only 9, and i knew it would take more than 9 rounds to kill these 7 stacks of dragons, so i decided to wait with my casting for some rounds.
Due to the fact i was placed i the corner, only 2 stacks of dragons could attack me, the others took defense stand all the time.
When the first 2 stacks of dragons were killed, i casted shield, coz the vamps didnīt drain enough life to refill back to 20 lords again.
From that point, only moral cold be a killer, but i was lucky the drags only moraled twice.
Try it yourself....itīs not that hard......the only trick is: You have to know that it works, so u can do it in a real game.

This is sad!
In the end that tourney was all about noobs learning something from vets, but it seems to me that neighter one is interested of doing this after all!

looool you noob cant even install messenger  hehe, just kidding well, just type in www.msn.(the nation tab (romania?) and then you just browse around till you find the download thing you need msn 7.0 or something good luck, and I can add your adress when your done, this will make it MUUUUUCH easier, to be honest, it would be best if all you foos yoused that friggin program as it supports heroes
