Oh dear... Another one.
Look people, this isnt really a serious topic. If I wanted to debate socialism there're quite a bit informative threads for that where I've posted. find them and respond and we'll see who's the bad guy and who's the good guy. (i'd only discuss with terje the ideal version of socialism, but thats constructive) The lounge is more like a positive place, u know, a bordel from the 50's, where we'll listen to some good Soviet, Cuban, South American revolutionary songs, smoke Kastro's premium cigars, watch the sunset, kill some capitalists, that sort of stuff. Of course funny comments/tosses about the good/bad of communism are more than welcome, but not these lamely constructed poor excuse for arguments.
i'll continue to send pics and songs, and i encourage u all to do that too.

Well, good comrade Svarog, if you'll supply the socialist propaganda, I'd be delighted to share some exquisite anarchist thingies with ya
Here's a starter:
So, anyone who wants some fine Cuban rum to go with those cigars? And maybe a copy of the communist manifesto to go with that?

Great logo, comrade terje! Keep em coming.
The program a "socialist song each day for you" continues, as you download today's "Ernesto Che Gevara" by the Bulgarian ska-punk band Wickeda. Its a great song, trust me, nothing near the previous two. (which were also good, each in its own beautiful way )

Hey, Svarog, is it possible to convert those into wav/mp3 on a permanent basis?
Here's a little something I found, for your viewing pleasure

After you download the song comrades, just rename it to .mp3 and it has to work. It did for me.
Speaking of errors, comrade terje, I cant see my viewing pleasure.

Not that it is any pleasure viewing it, but I guess there's no accounting for tastes...

Thanks comrade Woock. There, you see, dear crapitalists, how those who have experienced the virtues of socialism know how to help?
Now, on to the fourth song for you comrades. This is a band called Leningrad Cowboys, one of my favourites.
And this song is a version of the famous Russian song "Katjusha": Katjusha - Leningrad Cowboys
Please, can I get some feedback here? How do you all like the songs?
Too bad other comrades arent willing to spend 2 minutes and upload a song for the proletariat's hearing pleasure.

Well, I gave you a lighter and Lord Woock gave you a flintstone. Both will eventually make a fire, but I guess Lord Woock knew the developmental stage of the socialist civilization better.
Anyway, you're not going to get artwork from your fellow comrades. They are just sitting back and waiting for you to search and post stuff. Now, if you were to charge a fee for your looking-up service and use that money to hire people to do the searching, then it might just work out fine...

*ignoring the whining "capitalist^"*
Quote: Please, can I get some feedback here? How do you all like the songs?
Well, I loved the "International, since I previously only knew the first sentence of it
The ska song was also cool, imo, since punk is one of my fav musical genres, and ska is rather close to punk. I didn't understand much of the lyrics (), but ska is always fun
Haven't heard the Leningrad Cowbos song, but knowing them, I know it must be good
Quote: Too bad other comrades arent willing to spend 2 minutes and upload a song for the proletariat's hearing pleasure.
Sorry comrade, but I have no songs worthy of this, so...
And about the pic: I was unsure about it, since it sometimes was there, and other times weren't...
EDIT: Oh and btw, this is the homepage of the Norwegian Labourers' Communist Party.. I think it has an English version as well But it's probably most inteesting to Norwegians, and there's so few of us here. But who needs countrymen? Country and nationality means nothing; it's your political opinions that matter
EDIT2: Link to the English version: http://www.akp.no/spraak/index.htm. I think there's some English articles there...
EDIT3: I found I found! The Communist Manifesto! I know it's kinda old, and has some obvious flaws (such as being rather authoritarian), but Marx still provides a splendid analysis of the capitalist society Read and learn
^: A capitalist is pr. definition one who owns production capital, so I think all the wannabe-capitalists posting here are out of that picture

Excellent links, comrade terje. Marx would be proud of you.
concerning the songs, if you have anything from leningrad cowboys would do, as i desperately want to expand my collection from these comrades. will, link more of mine tomorrow.
I hearby propse that all future reference to the primary evils in this thread be replaced from cap to crap. So, we'll have crapitalists, and crapitalism. Much more suitable to the nature of things.

No, no Leningrad Cowboys...
And besides, I have no idea where to upload
But let's get back to one of the other main purposes of this thread: Spreading the good word
Just a quick.pic of the beautiful Cuba:
