Mark Your Territory
I decided to invent a new game for all of us to play here at HC.
The way it works is you sign up to play.
Then the way the game proceeds is by Round. At the beginning of each round, everyone sends me an IM telling me which thread you want to mark as your territory.
If more than one person chooses the same thread or if you choose a thread someone already owns you have a random contest chosen by me. It might be a TPAM war. It might be giving us the most convincing story that you like the smell of dog ****. The point is that the contest will be ridiculous.
Let's make a note that let's say Mvass beats Sir Stiven in the random contest over Tossers Tavern, there would probably be unrest and Mvass would have boasting rights in Tossers Tavern that he owns the place. Surely the Tossers Tavern regulars wouldn't like someone coming in and stealing their territory, so you would have to gang up and take it back. Remember if it's 10 TT regulars against Mvass, he probably won't win.
Rules Have Been Added To The First Post For Convience!
1.) You may challenge a person for one thread or claim an unclaimed thread once each round. NOT BOTH!!!
2.) No campaigning to HC members not involved in this thread. Campaigning is sending IMs to members telling them to vote for you in the contest. I will talk with the mods to see about sending IMs to members telling them to join the thread, so that after they join, you can tell to vote for you. So for now don't do that either.
3.) If a challenge is made and the proceeding contest results in a tie. The defender will win the contest and retain his or her thread.
4.) Entering tournaments does not count toward as taking a turn for a particular round.

You're supposed to send IM's, theb if you end up with the same thread as someone else you duel for it somehow.
Is this just limited to Tavern threads? Otherwise we could all pick one from a different board and nothing will happen.

Alright the challenge will be decided on a piece of pixelart. It can be of any size.
Whoever can draw the messiest looking picture of chicken scratch wins.
You have 24 hours to respond.
A poll will be created in Wastelands to determine the winner.
Note: Challenges do not delay the Rounds from proceeding. Rounds will continue until the challenges get too far behind.

Nonsense this will be great stuff once we get going. The chicken scratch pics were much funnier than I thought they would be.
Edit:

The name of the game is weaponsmithing. You will both create a futuristic space weapon that fits in with the setting in The Axis RP. The coolest space weapon, decided by a vote as always, wins the thread.

I sent an IM, but I guess I should have signed up 1st.
Please sign me up for the game ASAP because it looks like the rounds are coming & going at a fast & furious pace. Is there going to be a daily deadline implemented at some point? It might be a good idea to do that, as it will increase the likelyhood of conflicts, mais-non?!
