Well there are such t-areas on TR allready, I just described the temp a bit, so maybe its not that hard to make anyway. My main (and actually only) thought was to make the starting area more interesting. I find the temp (TR) pretty good as it, so much change isnt needed.
Im aware you dont like TR much , I cant remember exactly what you found annoying other than to many monolits, but if you can do something about that too that could be an improvement. Personally I dont recall having had many problems with to many monolits, but its important to notice that TR is only good on XL.

So u want the starting area a bit larger than it is currently, and no low level values like unguarded gold piles, waterwheels, leprechauns or chests, but some high level stuff as level 5 dwellings, naga banks, lev3 artie? Or even higher value?

The starting area a bit larger yes, low lvl values in about the same quantity as on E2 and some high lvl stuff with even higher value than the ones you mentioned.
Whether lvl 7 dwells should be possible or not I have a hard time figuring out. They make the game great fun but are also a huge disbalancer if one player gets one and the other dosent. Whats your opinion?
The idea is to make temps with all the great stuff on but hard to play because you dont have many free resources. This should give a bit longer games with some more build up, but still great armies and strong heroes in the end. How do you like the idea? The jebusalike temp might be good for allied games as well, where you would have to coorporate a bit more than on jebus.

First idea (Jebus) is done. Created some maps (about 20), looks ok so far. If anyone wants the template to test it, just drop a line here.
Working on the True Random template now....
Edit:
True Random template (new version) is done aswell. Only made adjustments in 1st area. It is larger now, has some more goodies (relics, libraries, high level dwells, boxes, utopias), but not too many. I have made the changings for ALL possible map sizes (those who were enabled in original template only though!)

Wont work. The text and numbers seem to be in the wrong places in the text file. Probably easy to fix but I dont know how. Maybe it got a little out of shape by sending it on e-mail.

For me they worked fine. I will send again. Just save them on your comp without open them when they are still attached. Seems this changes something in the file.
All others will get their copy this evening when I am back home. Stay tuned!

Ok, I sent the templates to all (Dev, lioph, dimis, maretti again).
I even changed the template name in the txt file itself, so u should see the new name in the game info when map is created.
Feedback appreciated.

The TR template works pretty well but i believe the starting area should be a bit smaler. It takes to much away from the rest of the map, besides because of the distance its difficult to take the towns in the 2nd areas to get some income going.

Anyone tried the new jebus template yet?
It seems stronghold and fortress have a slightly advantage on that one (mostly wood and ore related). Castle isn't uber strong anymore, especially on natives.
I started a XL, 160%, natives game yesterday. Stronghold vs castle. Looks promising.
I really think with that "adjusted" template, castle players will have a harder time.
Hope I get some feedback from you soon...

Angelito, how exactly the value of the guards is calculated. Actually - what the value represents - the price?
Because if so - there is something more that i miss.
On Balance L, the guards was horde Wyverns week 1. The template says that the value of the guards to treasury zone is 30 000.
So by what criterion value of 30 000 results in horde wyverns?

It is price related, but also map size and difficulty related.
I made a lot of tests about that and wanted to make a thread, but lost the data and forgot about it. Maybe I will restart the tests and post them here. I can give ya some basics though:
The values given in the template are related to creature price on L size no under 100%. Everytime u change one of these factors, the value is multiplied by a specific number.
For example: 130% instead of 100% raises value by 1/3. XL instead of L decreases again by 1/3 (not 100% sure about the numbers currently, but the idea is correct).
So if u played on 130% and L size, the value went up from 30.000 to 40.000 (+33%). 1 wyvern costs 800 gold. 40.000/800 = 50 = horde.
You can easily make those tests yourself by changing map size and / or difficulty. Those creature numbers are not 100% accurate though, but are pretty close to those calculations.
As I mentioned...maybe I restart those tests again. Main intention was to get knowledge about the values of specific map locations like utopias, nagabanks, level 7 dwelling, libraries, boxes etc...
