do as you like, but you will never be able to bring in a new team under somewhat balanced circumstances as things are now im afraid.
And if random factor is too much.. then lose it and look at the other ideas aswell.
Or just have fun keep playing your game with 3 teams.

well, i don't really know. some of stiven's ideas sound intriguing but i'm not sure if all of them will work smoothely. so far i'm for the even distribution of red and yellow stars, as in GG team only RMS and Gorman have lots of stars, i got 2 red ones and Danos is still a tavern dweller

Well, as Danos can buy sh!tloads of units, that's not really a problem, is it?

Why should I explain why..Besides Woock knows 2 of my points (about rearranging and balancing teams and bigger map that is) Anyway if you want me to play I'llbuy 3 uits =90 gp and move to just a region

what should we do with members that leave for long periods of time while we are waiting on their turns? (which is the case with RSF at the moment)

lets find players for 4-5 teams then and we can from there set a QP top?
From then we can talk about the random factor if any.
But re arranging the teams, fire up a bigger map and put in specialities(?) can be made easily during that time if so is wanted.

OK, I finally took the time to read SS's suggestions and I will comment on them.
1) I agree with the random factor. To me, it's a must and all the good games have it. I will trust any1, as it's just for fun anyways.
2) We have to keep it simple, so I agree with Terje on this. No specialties.
3) Yes, we need to have at least 4 teams, not 3. As it stands now, Woock's team will clean the board because the other 2 teams are fighting. It is not balanced as it is... So please do make a bigger map, and if you need help, just ask me, I'd be happy too.
4) I don't mind starting over, but that will mean loosing some present members that might not like the new game.
5) To me, the slow pace is not an issue as right now things are just not moving at all! 
6) General, capitol, etc... ideas will make the game more complicated so no too sure about that.
7) I like the idea about the QP distribution because it's true that a low QP team will die young.
in the end:
* bring in random factor even if it takes more time
* at least 4 teams
* bigger map

No matter if this entire reform thing is implemented or not (some modifications will doubtlessly be made), we need more region names. Any suggestions would be immensley welcome.

I just read in the MYT game thread that RSF is taking the summer away from HC. If this is really the case, we need to find a solution for a game delay.
Aswell, if Spam Wars is revamped, that would mean we are thus missing 2 members
