Scylla?The greek monster?as far as my memory goes Scylla is a six-headed monster that would kil and eat every sailor that would pass near her.I am not sure about taking Scylla in as it is similar to Hydra,but yet again that is not my call.Maybe,I am wrong.And there is always Haridba,great water monster which is along with Scylla guardian of one entrance to another sea.

Scylla could be the upgrade.. But yes, Scylla was a monster with a human head and body but with on the side of the body 6 dog heads with 3 lines of sharp teeth, 12 legs and a fish tail.

Don't worry Gwy. I know that Scylla is different from Hydra as I am mythological fanatic.I just thought you want simplified version.many of my friends don't care for mythology.Some of them even thought that hydra is a dragon.

I know, more are interested in cars and stuff.. -_- I hate the youth of these days..
Edit: But that's this not about.. Uhm, I edited the 7th monster in it and added pictures I found on the internet, they are not mine!

Gwy,I am afraid that Haridba(you know what i mean) abd Scylla don't sound much scary.There is also a problem how would they fight on ground.

Charybdis, uh yes, I think you are looking at the pictures too much.. I just picked some random pictures and for these two they were rare so I just picked some.. But they are just going to be creatures like the hydra on the ground. Only alot faster.
And about scary, you mean their specials or just the subscription?

If you would change ability to cast 3 level water spells with ability to cast level 2 water spells,it will be fine.You can maybe keep level 3 spellcas. if scylla wouldn't be too much strong stats wise.

Changed it.. And I don't really know what the makers are up to by how many specials they gonna get.. We'll see ;P
Also looking for something special as skill for this water folk.. Any suggestions?

Maybe a Drown skill? They cast drown, and the enemy stack has it's defense and attack skill lowered?

I have added that on siege defense the mystics get extra defense..
But I was actually waiting for specials in the way of building and sort.. Of a special building of anything.

Added some history, changed racial issues from place under to above. And added some extra explanation of the race, alsof have devided the history more, so it fits better, still thinking about specials.

wow the pics...
that was a town that was missing from the game.
but i do not like the statues.
i think they do not match to the spirit of the town.
water creatures must be ethereal and fast and they could at least swim...

What do you suggest as a slow but good defensive ancient unit?

Hhmm what about a water elemental?
Or something else anyway, even turtles are possible, although it would throw the atlantis spirit away.

Since this is an official contest entry I feel it would be wrong to have ideas exposed other than Gwyndolium’s, so I removed my post.
My concepts are aimed at heroes 3 but since now this is just a blank space I’ll still leave the link for my reworked ideas about Atlantis (7th post)

It's nice.. I had some idead but I put most of this units in because some of them come from older HoMM games.. And that's what most towns in HoMM V have as well.
I agreed there are too less ranged creatures. But I can't really image more ranged than there are here. There are some magic units in though that can range with spells what is nice as well I thought.
And about the kraken, the picture shows him too strong. It's just a huge octopus crawling over the ground so it's kinda slow.. Like hydra like but weaker. See specials anyway.
The special thing about walking, see my own specials  it's somewhat like it.
Also I am some unsure about the Kelpie, but I thought it was a nice creature adding into the HoMM cause much towns have something like a horse or similair. I thought it was fitting. Only the lv3 is bugging me.
