You can also train Tier 3 creatures into Tier 5. So you could upgrade your lowly Peasant into a Cavalier (or even Paladin, when you upgrade him).

hello every one could somone tell me how you get to the easter egg on the map of mission 4 the trap I can see it but can't seem to find away over to it.and what does the easter egg do for you in the game?
any help would be nice.

You can't reach it, only see it. And the easter egg is just something to smile about, for having found it and seeing it there. I must admit I was pretty amazed when I saw it first; after all, they had to design and implement that object ... makes you wonder if they're tuning the same engine for a different game as well  .

On the final mission in "The Queen" after Godric goes off the map you have a new objective - get a message to the King guy. But then he dies the next turn. Is there an alternate ending where you save him or something?

Take the western stairs underground, the ones close to the seer's hut. The boots are in a building there, you have to fight some undead (I don't remember exactly what are they) to get them. Also, read this thread: [url=http://heroescommunity.com/viewthread.php3?TID=18229]The Trap[/url]

Got a minor, but crusual bug occuring on Mission 4 - The Trap.
The first time I played this, things really went well until I killed off the guardians of the Crypt. The cut-scene appered, and I got the check off indicating that I got the Boots required to cross the bridge. However, the bug is that Looting the boots don't add them to my inventory. I don't have them at all. Objectives are ok, but no boots.
I cannot reenter the crypt either.
After resetting and trying again several times, this bug continue to haunt me. Every time I defeat the crypt the boots appear with white icon after the cut-scene, (artifact loot icon in the middle-top section of the screen after battle) and no boots either on the hero, or in the inventory.
Current version is 1.3.
Any suggestions how to obtain these damn boots without this minor, but very crusual bug?

The boots are there, they just don't have a graphic (and yes, that's a bug). Despite being invisible, you should still be able to equip them (if you find them in your inventory, that is ...).

they should auto equip, if you already have some sort of boots drag them down to a empty spot and equip the correct ones.

i havent read all the pages in this thread but im sure mission 5 has been covered more than once, anyways i havent played this one in a while but il try to remember.
Start off and go north to capture the city, after easily capturing it free isabel from the prison to the right of the city. after that give isabel all your units (at this point she should be much stronger than godric) use isabel to kill the dragons to the left of the city and capture the gold mine. stay close to the city as the first demon will attack you shortly. keep building and upgrading.
after you defeat the first demon clear all the mines in the area (make sure to go north-east and get the cavaliers, amd the mill which gives you 1000 gold each week. go a bit further east and you will find the first obelisk which you need in order to solve the puzzle. ga back near your town as the 2nd demon is about to attack. after you defeat the 2nd army go to the middle of the map and find the second obelisk, followed by the 3rd in the south west of the map.
now go back to your town and stay in that area as you are about to get attacked by the third army. after you defeat the 3rd army there will be a cut scene and you will have to take godric to the very south east part of the map. he will disappear.
different things seem to happen to different people in the end...what happened to me was i got attacked for the 4th time (by agrael) and after defeating him i completed the mission and went to the cinematic where nicolai is killed.
this is probably not 100% accurate but thats basically how i passed it...

like i said i havent played this mission in a while so i dont remember the demon gate, but yeah if there is a gate there go through it, that would make godric dissapear and that would make sense

I did it!
There was 2 gates, I took the left one and let Godric go through it. And he did dissapear...and the rest is spoiler

got the boots of levitation after getting artefact boots from the wagon, does that mean i can't continue? nothing
there in the inventory.

wheres the d*mn town?
this might sound stupid but on the siege bit of the campaign i cant find any enemy town to destroy ive uncovered ever possible part of the map do i just have to kill all the creatures on the map or something??? would much appreciate help

cheers i realised whn i went back on should have looked at mission obj xD thx anyway though. Also on a later scenario of that campaign i never met up with the elven guy but when i crossed that bridge when you get the leviathan boots that didnt matter... do you get any benefits from meeting the elven king?

hey all
im at haven campaign the fall of the king
i must go trough a garrisson who has this followuing creatures:
ps hold ur hart 
Zounds of Arch Devils -> 890
Swarm of Succubus-> 300
Legion of Imps -> 1k (1000)
Legion of Nightmares -> 2k (2000)
Zounds of Cereberus -> 500
Legion of Pit Lords -> 1k (1000)
Legion of Succubus Mistress -> 3k (3000)
indeed
the other prob is their becoming stronger each week..
So anyone have an idea of how i can beat this guys
hope i'll hear it soon
