really? in the previous games they were men but in H5 they look like a wierd women or a weirder man, although fallen angels rock! but you could ask this question over several creatures
1. Dragons
2. Griffens
3. Unicorns
4. Djinns
5. Nightmares
i've also considered Treavts, but they have both male and female parts to them,
still angels are assended beings (i think) so they are both male and female, if you dont get it see my sum
Male Peasent + Plague = Death of Male Peasent, Male Peasent Rises to Sylrath and becomes a Male Angel
Female Peasent + Plague = Death of Female Peasent, Female Peasent Rises to Sylrath and becomes a Female Angel
then they turn to a Archangel but that besides the point
in the original H5, the Inferno hero women were like Biara, how come they turned into men?

for duel mode its the devil. cuz you can summon pitlords out of your dead units,and because its only 1 battle,you dont have to worry about after it.
for scenarios or campaings(please excuse my spelling)its defeinately the phoenix or the fallen angel,although my fav is the magma drag.(but they die quite fast in duel mode)

NO I think angels are males; however, they are mad to look like kind of femalish so they would look good and look holy as well.

why would angels ( which are divine creatures be metrosexual ). I think they are male and the person who designed them because He/she wanted them to be kind of holy gave them this good looking feature.

I think all of the lvl 7 creatures are pretty boring this time, except for the Phoenix which has some big contrasts.
Among the other ones, I probably go for the Magma dragons since 40% Fire shield is great, and the compability to Armageddon as well.

Phonix? Do you like Phoenix apperance? Well everyone has diffren't likeness but for me all lv7 creatures looks great and Phoenix just looks thin and bad imo alltough the yellow light is allright.
I'm clad that they didn't leave Phoenix for the Sylvan because of the looks but either i don't like Emerald Dragons that mutch when i like more Green Dragons looks.

I think black dragons are the best,I mean-they were always the best,since Heroes 2.Black dragons have always been resisted to magic.Here are more creatures level 7,which I like since Heroes1.
H1-dragons and phoenixes
H2-black and red dragons
H3-asure,feiry and black dragons,titans,behemots and chaos hydras.
H4-titans,bone and black dragons,megadragonsand phoenixes.
H5-black,shadow and emerald dragons,phoenixes,titans and angeles.

Bone Dragon, just because they look cool
As for the angels and Archangels, I think they went for an anime bishounen style, feminine pretty boys, not genderless.

Hehe..
Of course the Magma Dragon. It has 40 more health than the Mighty Black Dragons. Fire Spell immunity and Magma Shield makes them hard to be killed. They are.... fusion of Dragons and Efreet sultans!!
