I always thought the Green Dragon should be switched with the Emerald Dragon.
I think the green dragon should have been the upgrade. IMO it looked way cooler, makes a really cool sound, and the emerald dragon is like kinda spindly, but the green dragon is really solid and imposing I think it was better designed too.
Anyone else agree?

^ I agree. Maby if the color of GD would be little diffrent it could be Gold Dragon or Emerald Dragon. I have no idea why the upgradet creature is smaller than the original creature.

Same problem with pixie and sprite. Pixie's design looks much more apt for the "nature" theme.

I wonder what the spectral dragon's alternative may be  It has to be crappy like spectral hence the horde building would give an unfair advantage. Bah. Maybe the aging special will return?

I like spectral dragons mostly because of Nicolai, but far the coolest 7th level creature is emerald dragon and it has highest intiative as well exept phoenix

Hah, I finally moved on from H3 to Tote A little late but what do you do..
Archangels are my favourite - because they always deal maximum damage, can ressurrect allies and have magnificent defense with the "Anti-Magic"ish spell from H3, can't remember what it's called :C
Seraphs have annoyingly large damage range, less defense and are weaker in my opinion anyway.

titan, because can attack from range.
followed by archangel, able to resurrect allies and quite strong.
number 3, black dragon, but i don't like black dragon under warlock's command because its magical immunity is partially negated.

Archdevil - visually better than other level 7's. Powerful unit and not as expensive as black dragons.

Crystall dragons because they are the fastest level 7 creature in game (only phoenix are better but they can't be hired). Also crystall dragons are better then emerald ones because of their breath... Crystall dragons can attack more then two units at one time, also they can attack units at 3 cells distance from them (not 1 or 2), maybe even 4, but don't know exactly. So they aren't the strongest, of course, but they are the most useful in my opinion.

Most of the time emeralds are better. That crystal breath is indeed broken, but it fails very often. I use crystal dragons when i may face puppet/frenzy latagame, because crystal breath wont trigger vs your own units, unlike the acid breath of the emerald dragons.

Hm... Maybe because of solder's luck I don't not encountered such a situation when crystall dragons were useless with their breath. Maybe without this perk they are, don't know exactly...

Soldiers' luck doesnt improve the chances of triggering crystal breath, at least according to the TotE manual.
