assasin isnt bad if you have patch 1.6 becouse the get poison attack
and it is strooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong

Can you explain what is a dmg magnet? Are you asking in some american way "Why the centaurs are the favorite target of the A.I."?
That'll be - they are a shooter, they have low hp and they are a BIG creature.
So the A.I. tries to:
- kill the closest creature
- block any shooter
- kill with the least loses on retaliation

also who thinks that seduce making the seducer unusable is annoying as hell?
finally,what is the point of the arch-demons irresistable pull if the spell is only usable on your allies?

Centaurs have a high damage/hp ratio so it is only natural. Seduction is already too strong, making seducer act in the duration would be overpowered. Irresistible pull works on everyone.

I didn't write the A.I. - but i tested it alot - there is no such preference, on the contrary. You may safely asume the A.I. would much rather prefer to attack a shooter, or at least block it.
