@darxion
- i've never said :
>>Being newer to ToH doesn't make my views wrong or
bad.>>
i've only said that the newer ones sometimes better
have had a look in some threads before arguing with
'glitches'
and there are only two ways:
a. u havent read that threads before -> then im surely
right
b. u have read that threads before and nevertheless u
speak of 'glitches' -> then my answer was very
friendly
- i personally dont use h&r , but imo u castrate the game
if u make up one special rule after the other... no
rulez!
- doesnt matter if i've quit t-o-h for this season... but
a tourney which is near your description isnt my
tourney...
- doesnt matter if h3 is a fantasy game or a wargame -
fact is : its a strategy game - the goal isnt to save
100 sprites from being killed by a bad dragon , the goal
is to win against ur opponent (without using cheats &
bugs but with using ur brain)

I think (not that it matters)...
that people have lost track of the initial argument. There are plenty of "I hate this", or "I do that", but if people have REALLY been following this thread (and its predecessor), you will realise you are belting your head against a brick wall. I dont think people can be swayed from their own opinion in this particular matter, and my own answer to the initial thread question "The real answer to hit and run" is to play your own way. If you get hit and run, so be it. If u execute a hit and run and your opponent gets pissed, so be it. Make your rules if it pleases you, or play rule-less. Either way, you arent going to sway peoples opinion on this.

My head hurts!

Everyone's opinion counts, whether anyone agrees with it or not. Also....my apologies if I have not had the opportunity to read any other thread specifically referencing H&R, though it seems to come up in almost all threads. :{
I believe I have stated (somewhere, once upon a time) that I am not for rules, either......and I agree that those who like or dislike, master or ignore H&R in any version of HOMM, let alone HOMM3, will not be swayed easily, if at all.
I say no more on this subject........my opinions are known. Time to head back to Kuma's for another bottle of Jaeger.
