Hi, DVZ & Hexa,
Just finish it....................
I mean the first map.
Quote:
The main hero won't be the Eagle-eye specialty so just bear with her for the first map of the campaign and let her learn all the spells available.
Happy gaming!
Ya, I figure that out when I see it first time. Well, I think it is reasonable to assume that an eagle-eye specialty won't be good for main hero.
First map is not difficult. Though I don't learn all the spells (I even don't bother to learn some less useful spells, hope it doesn't matter in later maps). Have you learned all spells ? even counter strike ?
Btw, that eagle-eye hero doesn't learn inferno as well coz another hero fights the final battle for me. Though it is a relatively tough battle since I only got lv1~lv3 spells for the hero I rescued (by scholar skills) and I find the force field spell quite handy.
My eagle eye hero (Divia ?) ends with wisdom, log, eagle eye, tactic, scholar, estate, earth and air (all expert).
A nearly "perfect" secondary hero.........

Wow the first map's not difficult eh? I believe quite a number of people gave up because the first map's already a killer and wished for more troops.
Yes I managed to learn every spells including Counter strike, which's arguably the hardest spell to learn. Counterstrike is not a must-have spell but map #1 is the only one of the two places where you can learn the spell -- with the other one deep into the campaign later. Nevertheless, as long as you have learned all the important spells I believe it's all right.
>> Btw, that eagle-eye hero doesn't learn inferno as well coz another hero fights the final battle for me. Though it is a relatively tough battle since I only got lv1~lv3 spells for the hero I rescued (by scholar skills) and I find the force field spell quite handy. >>
Goodness, you're serious you could beat the Inferno hero using the imprisoned hero? LoL, I thought about it but I would not have imagined it's possible unless you deliberately waited for a few more weeks to get more troops. If you could manage to do that, you're in a good shape coming to map #2 since that hero can immediately teach all level 1-3 spells to the main hero in map #2. Great job! I am sure Hexa would also be jealous, LoL
Good luck and have fun playing the next one!

Actually I fight that inferno hero 3 times.
First time I use Divia after doubling her spell pts and beat it with some titans and naga queens left.
Second time I reload the map and try to beat that inferno guy with the imprisoned hero (Ureza ???)but failed and suffer a bitter defeat.
Then I remember what you say about force field and take my third try. I wait for a week's reinforcement (actually 3 days) and put all artifacts on Ureza, visiting the stat-boosting site and doubling his spell points. Then I finally beat that inferno guy by casting force field. It's a hard battle coz I can only cast lv1~lv3 spells..........hard but enjoyable.

LoL, funny thing that I didn't remember what I kept telling people when it came the time to use the spell myself. But yeah I couldn't beat Inferno using the imprisoned hero with the troops that I had and moreover the Magic Spring had been used up. That's great that you could actually pull it off, it should make the next map considerably easy -- not too easy tho.

Yeah the first map is not hard compare to the later ones. The key to beat the rest of the game is speed. take second map for example, you should aim to take out the fortresses by the end of second week with your fire witch (which is not hard btw). In the third map, it is possible to break the garrison gate by the end of week 1 (in fact you have to take out all 3 ramparts before week 3), whit your 3 beefcake heroes it's not that hard
Love this campaingn though. played it twice, the last map is very very interesting.

Check out the quest guard near the northern rampart on the middle island. He guards the way to the lake.....

Check the seer on the small island south of Inferno island. He is guarded by dark blue tent. You need to achieve level 25, then u will get the summon boat spell as reward.

The Vial of Dragonblood (Mutare has it).
Bring it to the starting Castle town in the very north west.

Hey there, im currently playing through this awesome campaign, but unfortunately i find myself stuck at the fourth map. I've killed all the enemies and taking everything possible on the map, but the clover of fortune. Seeing as i need the sandals of the saint to get past the quest guard, however i don't have the sandals, and can't see them anywhere. Help would be greatly appreciated!
