I like Academy because of the "best" ability. It is very good that all the spells is writen in the spell book that is way they are so good. They are also good now because of Storm Titans call Storm, that is very powerful on Shooters. And when you duel against computer the computer always place his shooters together.

There has been a long interval since the last time I posted here  My latest fight was one my more interesting ones yet even though it proved to be relatively easy. I was playing dragon's cape random - I got Havez, my opponent Deirdre.
On the beginning of week 3 I was lvl 17 with destructive, warmachines and enlightenment, had 200 saboteurs with hp/resistance artie and 100 obsidians and unicorn horn bow, summoning ring from town's artifact merchant. The garrison was 25 fire/earth and 4 stacks of 7 water elementals. Total losses 6 gargoyles 
In the middle I found the quiver and completed archer's dream set which worked great with the gargoyles and ballista But hey if academy can't benefit from that I don't know who can. Anyway I was forced to retreat because I was foolish not to summon army when I had my chance and returned with my artificered army. Now here's how the pieces come together:
I had expected summoning from the start - the banishment ring halved the phoenix's hp which died to a deep freeze.
Cotn was also a concern because opponent visited the arcane library but my colossi had 74% resistance and as for the viziers 
All shooter units had initiative arties to boost archer's dream. It really is a dream to see gremlins with 16 init and mages with 14 acting 30% faster. With morale. I don't dare to imagine what a ring of speed with mass haste would have done there.
Even if he used dark I made sure to have magic mirror and motw with deep freeze could get me through till all my units were cursed to hit each other to death. By the way deep freeze gives a good damage vulnerability with 19 spellpower 
Finally fiery wrath as a counter to last stand but he did not have it.
The above individually don't ensure victory but can sure make for an annoying game for the opponent. Yes I broke first and got the advantage so it wasn't as close but it was very satisfying to see the artifact combos work like a charm
Tip of the day: When you visit town make sure you have learnt all the spells, due to a bug you don't get some unless you remain in town for a day.. At first I noticed that I had not learnt fireball but when I hired my hero from the tavern he learnt fireball and chain lightning instantly. Go figure.

I like Academy, because:
- Have library to learning more skills.
- I like Academy heroes, because their knowledge is high, so they can casts lots of spells without afraid of empty mana.
- I like Academy units because there are unique.
- I like Academy units because lots of their abilities is useful.
