Just my opinion.....but I dont like the new Magic Book artifacts...part of the uniqueness of this game and the towns themselves is that not ever town has option of getting all types of magic...now however any town can have any and all magics if they get a book...

i have not enabled tomes, however they not that strong cause even if you got e.g puppet master or resurrrection you got it on the lesser effect of not even basic skill.
however i agree, not only of the uniqueness but also on luck/strategy of not having all spells of your own expertise

Finally! i have just received an expansion.....and updated Fatal Controversy!!! so that you can play it using HOF
and you get to the middle in week 3 or 4 so...there will be no problem with simultaneous turns!!!!!(YEY!!!)  ....so download the map and start playing...

Can someone tell me in detail how this mystery process of renaming a zip file and magically transforming it into an .h5m file.... its frustrating that some of the maps on TOH are uploaded as the normal .h5m file and others are in the zip format that you must unpak into data folder....
The problem with that is, some of the maps need edited to allow runes etc and it wont let you load it into editor if it isnt in .h5m format... so could all the map makers submit there maps in the standard .h5m format... and until that gets done can someone tell me the process of making the zip format into the .h5m format so I can load it in the editor....

I personnaly do it like this:
When downloading, save as, select "All files" and add ".h5m"

My new map, "Circle of Winter" 95% of time with simultaneous turns, a lot of things to do, tough garrisons to battle, i hope u will enjoy. Who is the map council now? Cause I want it to be available on TOH site too.
Any suggestions or comments on the map WELCOMED!

to verify through your maps that you actually tidy up your room! 
and will you make one for the easter as well? with crosses all over a mountain and such?

Editing the Nival Maps
Can anyone help me get Nival's HoF maps into h5m format so that I can edit them?
For the 1.x maps, http://www.celestialheavens.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=3995&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0
tells you where to download the Polish versions. It also tells you how dig the h5m files out of the pak file yourself if you want English versions.
But, it's not obvious how to find the right files in the pak. Has anyone compiled a list of file names for the HoF maps, or posted them somewhere for download?
