Hmm, I don't know - I've never had a problem with the jingling.
Just so you all know, I have spoken with Valeriy about this so don't think that's he's unaware - and keep logging your ideas and instances, every little bit of information will help him solve it 
*edit - just crashed, apparantly talking about the jingling does it

when the server cuts out both the HC and HCM cut out at the same time. (if it was flash only HC would cut out and not HCM)
The same thing happens with identical characteristics on two different computers (with two different main T1 hubs). Also the same thing happens with identical characteristics on both firefox and explorer. (page not found)

Check this out, when I made my post here just a few minutes ago, it was right before a crash.
Get this though, the thread was updated (my post went through) but my post didn't bump the thread on the "today's posts". It only got bumped when I edited it a few minutes after HC came back online. I think this is a pretty good indication that the problem lies with the server.

cant recall ever having a crash on hc....except maybe back in the day with an exceptionally long reply, or maybe that was WW, dunno

Down it went from about 16:03 to 16:05 server time. I was attempting to log in at the time. No HCM, but I did have multiple tabs open. Browser is Firefox 1.8 on WinXP. Are these log reports helping at all?

Yes, something happened to the server. I get a notification on the mobile phone if it goes down, but unfortunately I was away from a computer when it happened.

Ok that's fine, I was just a bit worried, although this has happened before, and it was stuffed up for around the same amount of time, but since I am always on, I always know of these things first, I think.
Well what is happening with the sever?
Is it being upgraded or something, or is it just experiencing problems?

Hard to know when the server is on the other side of the world. We'll keep an eye on it. If it's a persistant problem, we'll investigate further. Hopefully it's just a one off crash. Previous one was because the host plugged the network cable into the wrong socket when moving the box...

The HC clock is whacked
It is out now by about 35min... It hasn't been right since the awesome {truly - no crashes} switch of servers.
This is petty, but if you have the time to fix it

The server has been caught in a time warp. I will have to wait for the next temporal opening in order to modify its chrono-signature. Not sure when the next one will occur

I was not able to load HC from 4 to 9 minutes ago. (It's ten minutes past xx now).
Edit: I.e. from 1:01 to 1.06 AM admin time.
In Firefox it's the "server can't be found" message.
