Quote: i thought that the free cities of the east was vaguely russian. i thought it would be interesting to variate from classic medieval fantasy with adding a little bit of a russian aspect. out on a tundra, freezing, gave the picture of medieval russia under Ivan the terrible. coupled with an engineering theme and the idea that the orcs could get invovled, i thought it would work fine.
by the way, their ruler is a Tzar called Ivan, but he is Ivan the properous, as he has made an awful lot of money. (russia with a capitalist twist!)
so that is there will 2 orcs actions, stronghold and settlement.
The orcs say: if dex hat you want (in warhammer, the tankbustin)

Quote: um, genielord, i think you are looking at the wrong town
that was fortress fan's, mine is at the top of the page, you can tell because, i don't have centaurs in it!!
also
1. the stampede motto means that they would fight anyone who is willing to put up a fight. if they're not, then the stampede would give them the choice to join their army or to run away and/or be put to death.
2.as i have stated, i don't have centaurs. if you have got confused with commissars, then they are orcs who have been given the job of excuting traitors, not orcs who have been combined with horses.
3. WHAT!!! i think both towns are very strong!!!.
For the stampede, you have rampaging ogres who are killing/eating machines, terrifying thunderlizards who are a massive 3x3 sqaures big, and lots of goblins who would jabb you so badly, you wish you were left to the ogres.
For the stronghold, you have pikeorcs and halberdiers with springloaded pikes, musketeers who have a very long range and a good damage range, and mechanical dragons who breath steam and fly.
are you saying that they are underpowered!!!!!!!!!!!!
thank you for your comments. anyone else?
I'm sorry, I thought it's the same town.
And I'm not talking about the specialities. Your damage range are over the top. For example: It's better to do 7-9 than 1-16.

i have found an interesting new map from Celestial heavens. it certianly has opened alot of possiblities.
i would say that the stampede inhabit the golden steps, they look suitibly plainlike, and the stronghold enhabit the unknown east, as it looks like a tundra.
in future town forcasts, i see alot of development in the doom sea, lost Palaedra and Challoth for the new naga faction, some increased points of interest in Hashima (possilbe the place for the Japanese conflux?) and a smattering of thoughts heading to the shrouded south.
oh, and look, Kreegars back!

Okay then your stronghold and my settlement will be allyes!
the history of the alliance:
586: the amphebians (GenieLord's tropicals) are attacked the orcish clans (my future orc faction: the Settlement), so they are wanted the stronghold orcs (you stronghold orcs) to help. And the stronghold orcs are decided to help the orcish clans.
611: the orc clans are attacks the strongholds, the aliance is over...

what about the Stampede!!!!
the orcs worshiping the metal dragon, i thought, would hate the orcs from the east, as they have turned their back on the "true" faith of the orcs.
i'm not sure how the Stronghold orcs would ally with the cavern, either.

if your orcs attacked my orcs, i think that pretty much settles it, their enemies. my orcs hate them for corvorting with the banished dragon and his servants. your orcs hate my orcs because my orcs worship Slyath, who told the wizards to imprison the metal dragon.
the stronghold also don't like haven, for worshiping Elrath instead of the humans rightful patron, Slyath, the stampede, for worshiping Slyath in a different aspect, academy, as they hate the wizards for using them as slaves, and Fortress, as they are battling over the snowy terriories.
their only real allies are the dark elves, who supply them with food through underground tunnels, and nerco, both want to destroy the academy. so they are generally evil!!
please note: i have added the Legendary outriders to the Stronghold line up. feel free to comment on the dangerous east's newest unit.

So my orcs are hate your orcs, becuse the metal dragon...
Histroy:
124: The Metal Dargon sends some creatures from Settlements and Forges to destory the Temple of Sylath.
238: Sylath told to Sar-Shazzar: "Imprison the Metal Dragon! Even that pahtetic future orcs are will kill us then! The Metal Dragon must not be free!!!!!!"
239: The forge orcs (my orcs of the Settlement Faction) are being to know the Metal Dragon imprisoned. They want revenge. So all orcs worship and fear the warboss of thier clan as a good. They say: "The warbosses, our new gods will lead us to the way to the key what open the prison door of the Metal Dragon, and the Metal Dragon leads us to they way of win!"
But the metal dragon will never unprisoned.

level 1: goblins
level 3: ogre gladiators
level 4: ogre trappers
level 5: ogre shamans
level 7: behemoths
levels 2 and 6 are undecided. the two options for level 6 are cyclops and manticores, both of which would ad another interesting factor to the town.
i have also put skills up for all to see. if anyone would like to metion ideas about the other stronghold factors (buildings and heroes) i'll be happy to hear.
some thoughts on the stampede racial skill have been at the back of my head:
feast magic: basically the ogres eat as part of their religion, so feast magic is eating magical plants and animals to imbune the Stampede creatures with improvements.
Stampede: the larger the stampede army, and the longer they have to move to attack the enemy, builds momentum, and they get damage bonuses for how long they spend on the move.
Might Makes Right: the more bonuses the Stampede army gets, the more nuetral creatures join their army, as they are too scared not to.
please tell me which ones will be best.
