I read the rest of it & thats about it Bobby.
Just talking in all general of variety of different types of players.
I have no right like i said before talking about heroes 5 when i never even seen the game.
This is about behavior in the game not about heroes 5 directly.
Yes i never played you but i played many great vets & newer players & they all behave different in how they play & how much time they take.
I also learned that playing in a regular speed basis (under 20 minutes ) wins you just as many games.
DOnt take it the wrong way Bobby.
Mostly a conversation then pointing fingers.

Rych I do have a personal reason why I say it.
Not judging from him as a player he is fun to play with but there is another big reason for me.

honestly , aculias, it's not the first time when i noticed that, but either u do not read a post entirely, or the language is to ambiguous, or the power to comprehend is "disturbed" by a...soda, let's say, when u jump to people's neck. another reason could be lack of info about the case.
no matter the explanation, it's better to restrain any vehement opinion until you're not 100% sure about what's going on or what exactly people want to express before someone will twist the meaning of their lines.

i am sure u understand, i watch you growing up, pls make me think that this process it really leaves some traces and i don't have to wait another 10 years for its completion.

and btw, the thread is called ultimate player vs. disrespect, which leave u space for middle shades to debate, it's not that radical as if you are using or word.
once again, read carefully and where u dont think u got it right, ask around, in private, before making public statements. u ca ask me for instance, but take this into consideration: i dont work 24/7 customer service for u
i never dreamed of making education to 30 or above, but life offers u quite amusing opportunities. , and i your case it's a real challenge, for sure: MI 4 -> i'm in

have a nice day

That was what I was explaining.
All the middle stuff.
I went through the disrespect.
I went through the honourable players.
I went through all of the middle.

Do you disagree with what I have been saying?

AS a general guidline, this is what i'll do. Ive played over 60 games now, so I think I know.

1 - If it is a new player i neverplayed before, I will request time limit on turn. If we cant agree, then no game.

2- If it is a player I know , then ill be fine with no time limit

3- If it is a player that claims to know me and I don't, Ill feel honored, but I'll also ask for time limit.

4- If I claim to know someone and I get ignored, then that player is off my buddy list

5- Teacher, when do we rematch?

hehe

How do u define dishonorable ?
I think u'r talking about hit and run or maybe fighting with 1 fury or sprite?
Well i reported the loss after u complain about hit and run when i casted a spell on u before running.
Hit n run with dungeon is dishonorable ? Well every hit and run costs 4k-5 to reemploy in the tavern for ur info
I just feel it is part of strategy when things are not going too well...

Hit n Run is a normal tactic, there's nothing wrong about it. In fact, the hit & runner risks a lot, because of radnom order at which creatures are acting during combat. If you enter combat having little forces you may be forced to run before casting spell, or you may even die. If you enter ombat with large forces, then you pay a boatload of money to other player if you want to surrender and keep them.
Hit n Run is OK. Because hero initiative is only 10. It's not like H3 when you entered a battle with 1 dragonfly, cast a spell and run away

darn hit and run, tried it , and it backfired

hit and run is not that big a thing

I was playing insatiable on dead mans lake. I went to him, hit and ran, to my regret.

He came back to me and squahed me.

I developed this never seen before strategy acutally, ask Betruger on No Mans Land. remember that game, where i retreated with hero, and chained all my troops back to castle

That could also be considered cheasy to some

@sq79

First of all I was not referring to you directly  in my post.  My post was more of a generalization.

However since we are now on that subject... I will feel free to comment......

Betruger claims that Heroes initiative is only 10 so hero acts later in battle so hit and run isnt as effective...... that would be correct statment IF IF it wasnt possible to surrender until it became the heroes turn.  But you can surrender at any point. So when someone in general comes at you with 130 Bloodfuries and 6 single stacks...explain how random starting order matters?  Blood Furies are always going to go first before all other things. So the 130 furies can make a strike then surrender before I can do anything about it....OR he can just come at me with 7 single furies and no way I can take out all of his stacks before his Hero gets to act and Magics me then surrenders... Doesnt cost that much to pay to surrender 7 furies while you leave all your army untouchably safe in cozy town.

Hit and run is NOT a good tactic....it is a way to exploit the game to beable to steal a win/game from an otehrwise unwinnable game.  Nothing anyone can say can convince me that 10 hours of hard fought strategic thinking and planning and building in a game...outplaying my opponent....only to lose soley because they have 7 Blood Furies?? Same old debate that has been going on since H3.  If you cannot win the game straight up without hit and run.....then that means ...either you were outplayed by your opponent,or you played bad enough during game that you deserve to lose....

****  Look at it from this angle.. Do you think it is realistic for 1 Sprite to beable to beat 1,000,000,000 stone golems? That is same thing with hit and run.  A substantially weaker inferior army is given a loophole to beable to beat and or win a game that they dont deserve to win or shouldnt beable to win.  Just because the game has a loophole that allows 1 Sprite to beable to beat 6 Billion Golems or Hydras or inifinite number of super slow creatures doesnt make it realistic or a good tactic.  Its exploiting a bad design feature in the game. The example I just gave is EXACTLY same priciple that hit and run employs. ***************

People can and will play how they wish...but as always for last 7 years of me being in TOH.  Anyone who wwants to use Hit and run to exploit the game, gets to join my Dont play list.

on a side note::   for the record sq79 did in the end show some integrity and accept the loss and quit hit and running me, and report his loss.

Simple solution for ubisoft: Make it so that only a hero can surrender or retreat from a battle.
