First, I realized your music has interesting 'melodies' (the specific theme for a song) but the melody is usually repetitive.
Yes I understand that, but I have only been making this kind of music for a little while. I used to make 20+ minute improvisation songs all the time and I was used to using melodies that repeat over and over. I am still working on that.
Quote: What I suggest instead, is to take your inspiration from your three songs or more, and mix the melodies in a harmonic way
Nice idea but I don't know how I could do that. Right now my main inspiration has been the band, Depeche Mode. I don't know if you have heard them before but I am trying to do similar stuff to what they do.
Thanks for your comments.
By the way, I was wondering if anyone would perhaps want to try and make music with me. We could discuss over MSN or something and send the songs back and forth to each other and edit it how we please and see what we both think. If anyone is interested, feel free to HCM and I will give you my MSN or whatever you have.
BTW: Can a moderator please edit my first post by taking out everything and just say this instead of what it has now:
I make Electronic Music and I would like to share it with everybody here. I call myself Electric Disection for those who are interested. I hope you will enjoy listening to them

Don't feel bad because, for me, classical music is even more repetitive (note classical =/= orchestral soundtrack/score).

When I said inspiration from three songs, I meant three of your songs
For example, let's say you have three similar ambience songs with different melodies, each 5 mins.
You can take melodies from the three of them, and generate a new 'melody' (similar to the three melodies) which will be more fluent and less repetitive (since you put them into one song). The final song will be very good even though it will be much shorter than the other 3 songs combined.
For me it'll be like quality over quantity

'Cool Breeze'
After a brief 3,2,1,0 countdown in G-major, bust open your umbrellas and prepare for a memorable evening of smeared eyeliner and heartfelt emoting. This tame, syrupy number should have been called 'Oscar Night' or something similar. Upon finally regaining his composure, a tearful Jack McFarland gave the song a 10. So enjoy the music, but don't get too weepy. You gotta look stunning at the afterparty, you know.

Thank you Lexxan for your kind words. I have uploaded 4 more songs onto my mediafire account so feel free to check them out.
Alright some news to tell. Me and Guitarguy started working on a song together and we finished it a little while ago. We decided to name ourselves Afterblaze. I will still call myself ED when I make songs on my own.
Here is the link to the new song.
Keeping it Casual

Ok I listened to this before when you sent me the link in chat. My opinion is it's a very good song, kinda suitable for an action score in a movie perhaps (yeah I know I'm too soundtrack addicted but hey).
It is just slightly repetitive but much better than most others

'Against All Odds' 8/10
This song doesn't sound anything like Phil Collins or Tupac! sounds mostly solid. Certain parts of the melody are very 'Horizon'-like. While some of the leads are strong, some others could go for additional ironing to make them stronger.
'Rainy Days' ~ 7.8/10
This song is sorta like a sedate version of 'Leader', redone and in a different key. Luckily, the midsection offers some extra elements that keep things from getting too repetitive.
'Translucent Mirrors' 7.5/10
This was, by far, the most experimental-sounding of the three songs. There are hints of creativity in the melody patterns, although it's probably at the expense of immediate appeal. So while it's a passable and original-sounding effort, it'll probably lag behind the other songs in terms of overall catchiness.

I completed a few more songs in the last 24 hours so I am going to upload them tomorrow and update this thread.
EDIT:
Well it has been a few days since I updated this thread and I have three new songs to show you all. Now PLEASE, if you listen to them PLEASE give some form of feedback.

Well what can I say, I'm not a musician and thus not very experienced with music types, so I can only say my biased subjective opinion
They're mostly good, but Rocket Science is simply too "slow" for my taste (too low tempo, etc), Fearing the Unknown is better in that aspect but it's still a little repetitive IMO, Loneliness is my favorite from these 3, it's not repetitive (only a little) and not "slow" either.

Hehe thanks for your feedback. It is very much appreciated. I figured you may have liked Loneliness. That is my fav out of the ones there and the one that I think most people might like if they listen to them all.
Okay, I FINALLY made a song after a few weeks. Here it is. It is called Confusion
Please tell me what you think.

Anyway, I have uploaded a few more songs that I have made recently. I hope you like them and please give me some feedback on them if you have heard the songs. Thanks.
Confusion
Ambient Soundscapes
Imaginary Boundries
Intrepid Minds
Morning Mist
I realise that the song 'Imaginary Boundries' is spelled wrong, but I can't be bothered re-uploading it with the correct spelling.
Enjoy and remember to please give some feedback. thanks.
