You've put a lot of effort into this thread William. Glad to see it's still going. I can see your music has gradually evolved over time as well. Just a shame for me most of the links to your direct songs on internet DJ don't work for me (I'm using chrome, could that be it?)
Still, I am surprised I had not put these songs on in the background while doing something else before to really get a feel for them.
Glad to hear that you liked them. It isn't Google Chrome, I think it's the InternetDJ site. What I'm thinking of doing is re-uploading every song I've made and putting them onto Mediafire. At least that way people can just download them and not have to worry about anything unlike IDJ. You're not the first to complain about that site.
Thanks for the kind words. I have a few demos I'm working on from time to time so hopefully I can finish those and upload a few more soon.
Thanks for the QP btw.

Well I do as well but I greatly appreciate Electronic music of the 70s and 80s.
I have a new song uploaded for you all. Well several new ones are on my soundcloud since I last posted in this thread but this is the newest one. I hope you all enjoy.
Hey William, nice you dropped by. What program are you using to make these? I currently am using Cakewalk Sonar but I'm always interested in seeing what other people are using.

G'day Corribus! Long time no talk mate. How have you been? I'm using FL Studio. It's what I've been using since about 2003/2004. I have, in that time, tried using other programs but I just can't get used to them so I always go back to FL.

Just so this thread doesn't remain forever a one-man show:
Back in my high school and early college years I dabbled a bit in musical composition. At the time, .midi was the primary format available to me, which definitely had its plusses and minuses - mostly minuses. Recently I bought a new digital piano that had access to a halfway decent bank of instrument samples and had the added bonus of being able to record to mp3 from the .midi file. So just for kicks I started doing some conversions of my old files.
As it happens, most of the music I wrote was HoMM2 and HoMM3 related. Some of you who have been with the community (not Heroes Community the website, but the Heroes of Might and Magic community) since the Astral Wizard days may remember a fan site called the Lazy Dragon Inn. I'm fairly certain it no longer exists. Anyway, we had web pages dedicated to each H2 faction, and I volunteered to provide the music. Most of which probably sucked, because of the whole midi format thing.
Anyway, those are primarily the files I've been fiddling around with in recent days. I've done conversions for most of them, but the one I'll share first is the music file (in midi) that accompanied my H3 map called Sander's Folly. Do note, these are works in progress. For these I've used a trial version of a fairly expensive piece of software, which has a somewhat limited feature set. If I decide to go whole hog and buy the real deal, I'll have a lot more effects at my finger tips. Even so, I'm not entirely displeased with the result with the limited feature set.
Any comments are welcome. If there is interest, I can post some of the others I've been playing around with.

I liked that Corribus. Definitely post more mate. Would like to hear other peoples contributions and their own creations.
As for my own update, I have just finished making an album which took about 4 months to make. I'm very proud of it and very excited to see what everybody else thinks about it.
Here is the link for anybody interested:
