The empire of the world II question
Im starting to get quite angry with this map now. I have been searching like a maniac for Cornucopia. I cannot find it anywhere nor the artifacts required to make it. My other option is to face god of wind and that is quite unlikely that I will manage to win.
So my question is, where is the frigging artifact?

Hi there.
This artefact is well hidden..
Look for the fortress town down south at the bottom of the map. It was the first fortress u conquered. (You see some trading posts arranged near). A bit to the east of that town, u see stables and a "cursed ground" terrain. You can waterwalk from the stables over this terrain, over the sea to a small landing place..and a bit further....there u will find the cornucopia.

Sorry for replying to the dead-thread, but that's better way than creating similar new one.
I got stuck on the same map (The empire of he world II), but in other case. Where I have to go, after I get through border guard for 4k wood? Killed all C.Hydras - nothing, got Cornucopia - nothing, even killed Faerie Dragons for Pandora Box - also nothing. Help, please

South of the place were the Cornucopia was hidden is a secret passage.Just west of the magic well. Leads to the west...mongolia...fortress area.

Has anyone seen this bug with this map?
The God of fire simply disappears. I was playing this map a few weeks ago and when I got up there where the four gods were, there was no God of fire (I THINK it's fire - it's the one in the lower right of the four gods). I restarted the game 3 times and the same thing happened. I restarted from the main menu, not using the restart button.

Yes...quite a few times. Problem is, you need to play the first 2 months before u r able to see if the bug occured..
You need to quit that game then, because u can't win without killing god of fire (quest guard).

If you go into the map editor and change the colour of the God of Fire to orange, then he doesnt disappear. I had that exact problem about a month ago, and was given this advice on another board - and its worked each time since.

Thank you for your replies, I got that secret passage to Mongolia by myself now I have another problemo.
I've stuck in the underworld after getting there through Faerie Dragon quest border. Found few Necropolis castle's ther, few heroes also. There was a seer, who gave me 100 champions after killing some necro hero. Any suggestions what to do next..?
If I remember correctly until getting there, I got the message kind of: 'You should seek for the secret passage (don't remember where) which will lead you to the barbarian ground'.

This seems to have worked, but it caused another problem. If you change the color for the God of Fire, be sure to also change the quest quard at 33,91. If you edit the hero, the quest guard will go blank, so be sure to write everything down first.

Sorry - I forgot to mention that. Depending on the map you downloaded, you might also run into a problem later on as well - that the 1st stronghold town is inaccessible (even having found the planned secret path). I downloaded it from the ByteBandit map site, and the map on there had this problem as well.

Could you upload the corrected and playable version of this map in the Archives? I did'nt know if this was the playable version or not. Thanks for pointing it out.

How do I upload it? Or do I just send it to you?
I never had the problem with the stronghold, but I corrected the God of Fire problem.

The signature below my post will direct you to our web page. Select Map Archive V. If you are'nt a member, just join. It's free. Go to the files section and select "upload a file." Select the map to upload. If you want to add a description, you may. Or I can do it. Or, you could just email me and I could put it up. Thanks.

If you mean on the stronghold areas, then there are TWO towns that you have to take. (both need you to water walk to them, and the lower one has a hidden path to get to it). Then iirc, you need to kill Xyron to get through the quest guard to go and take Cyclops.
If thats not the problem - then you will need to be more specific as to why you cant go any further.

Hey Rob4590, Thanks!
I already took the upper town, and found the pandora box that has the Statue of Legion. I can't get to the lower town. There seemed to be a secret passage to the East of it, near the Garden of Revelation and the Rogue Cavern. But past the Rogue Cavern, I don't seem to get anywhere. So how do I get to this town? Water walk from where? Is that where Xyron lives? (Because it doesn't seem to belong to any player) And after this town, then what?
