55x55 pixels dds
I am at work right now but i will try to do this tonight. I will e-mail it to you once it is done. I recall having the same issue when trying to save it and i had to change an option somewhere to fix. I just cant remember which one right now. I personnaly changed my Dragons to Silver and Gold for the Sylvan faction and changed the Shadow Dragon to a Red One in the Dungeon.

Wow, I have myself wanted the Silver and Gold Dragon for long. However, I was never really pleased with the skins for the Gold Dragon I've seen so far. Can I see shots of your Silver and Golden ones? It'd be amazing if you'd give it a shot with the 56x56 icon, but don't spent too much time on it, otherwise I'll just use the old icon for that one.

nice, work people. I see ur all like me. I dislike changing icons too. (if you dont use exact shade of black u get ugly effect)

Good evening
I made the change and i have the dds file available. The trick was to save it as a 2D Texture. I am not sure how to send you the file though as i dont have your e-mail address and i dont know how or where to upload a file on the forum. Let me know how i can get this file to you and i will send it right away.
As for the Silver and Gold Dragons...i will try to get some screen shots at a later time and i would be happy to share them with everyone.

Thanx! I send you an instant message with my e-mail address. To read the Instant Message, there should be a red text underneath the Heroes Community logo in upper left corner that tells you that you have a new message - just click that link, and the message will be in your inbox. Alternatively, click the HC Messenger link second from right in the top row.
Edit > I still need the proper location of the Emerald Dragon icon, however. Someone have any clues? (Sfidanza, did you find it when you made the icons for AOH, or was Hydra responsible for that part?)

Very well, there I found the icon called ico_Greatdragon_128.dds which seemed to be the proper one - or so I thought.
The path is correct. The problem is, the icons of Emerald Dragon and Unicorn have been replaced in one of the patches (1.3 or 1.4).

Look for it in data/p3c-data.pak or dataa1/a1-data.pak. It should be in the same subdirectory as the other you found (Textures/Interface/CombatArena/Faces/Preseve)

Thanx man - that was really helpful!
I now have at least some of the Icons working - but for some reason, some of them still doesn't work properly. The smaller ones (55x55 pixel and 32x32 pixel) seem to be working fine. Maybe also the 64x64 pixel one - not too sure exactly when they use which one. The 128x128 pixel one deffinitely does not work, however, and when in combat, one of the smaller ones seem not to work either (it seems, however, that this problem comes from a scaling down of the "large" one rather than a problem with the smaller icon files themselves. Some captures to show problems below. Have anybody got a clue what the reason for this is?
 
Also, in order to make this work, I had to actually replace the files in the p3data folder, rather than just placing the files besides it. Anybody know how one can work around that?

Eh ... I don't know that much about this stuff. I have some sort of weird file converter, that'll make me convert .jpg images into .dds, but I cannot see anything about 32 bit?

It seems that the game couldn't load the images correctly, try to save them again (maybe you should use another graphics program)

That shouldn't be necessary. Are you sure you put the files in the right directory?

EDIT > Btw. the program I used is called DDS Converter 2.1 - here's a capture of the options section, if you can make any of that, please inform me which setting I should use.

Thanx Vokial, those Icons do work. However, there is a small problem. It's not crucial, but if you'd be willing to fix it when you have time, I'd be really grateful.
The Icons you made haven't got transparent background. I'm not sure how this works, but I'd assume they'd have the transparent background if the .dds files were made from .gif files rather than the .jpg files I uploaded?
The only Icon where it's a proble seems to be the 128x128 Icon in the creature info screen - it looks like this:
It might also be a problem in the combat situation, where the creature is displayed on faction background colour.
The .gif versions of the icons are here. If you'll transform them, I owe you a great favor. I already owe you one for this!
