Thanks for the wonderful feedback. As a matter of fact, some of the Vori Elves are from M&M as well, but recoloured with a different background.
I'd love to join your project, but I'm no use for making maps or creature animations. Just static pictures like hero portraits, and anything text-based. If it's all the same with you, I'll post anything I create in this thread. Remember, you can use any of my work anywhere in your project. Just ask first.

I can see where you're coming from there, but the Ice Demons aren't quite related to the evil Kreegans from the Inferno. I had a backstory planned out for the Ice Demons, and it goes something like this...
A few years after the Silence of the Ancients, before the Elven race segregated into three groups (Snow, Wood and Dark Elves), the Snow Elves presided over Vori. During that time, the Fiery Moon (an outlying planet, near the world of Enroth) was a lush world, inhabited by many races. The Ice Demons were among those races (their original name has faded into obscurity).
A few centuries later, the Kreegans invaded. They malformed the world into a barren wasteland, a home for their godforsaken kind. Unprepared for such an event, the planet's races were subdued into slavery. Over the decades, the cruel torment inflicted upon them reduced most of their races to groups of scattered refugees, their once proud colonies destroyed by the demonic invaders.
The Kreegans particularly enjoyed enslaving the frozen beings, for they were more resilient than others. Their skin was as hard as solid ice, and they were resistant to the effects of the flames the Kreegans so enjoyed inhabiting. These beings became to be known as 'Ice Demons' by the enemies of the Kreegans, as they were often seen (unwillingly) participating in battle on the side of the Devils, summoned into battle by dark magics which bound their kind into service.
They Kreegans so enjoyed exploiting the inherent talents of this once-proud race that they prepared to ship them off to other outlying colonies in their meteor-like vessels. At this point, the Ice Demons had had enough of their enslavement to these usurpers. On one of the Kreegan vessels heading through space, a large number of their populace rose up in arms against the Kreegan 'pilots'. Against all the odds, the weak Ice Demons overcame their powerful Devil opressors, took control of the vessel, and steered it towards the first world they saw.
By chance, they crash-landed the vessel in the frozen waters north of Antagarich. After numerous days of drifting in the seas, their small colony drifted up on the shores of Vori, home of the Snow Elves. Seeking refuge, they explained the circumstances of their arrival. Luckily for them, the Vori Elves were the only race on the face of this earth that remembered any detailed history about the war between the Ancients and Kreegans. Taking pity on the stranded aliens, mainly because they had encountered the Kreegans, the Vori Elves welcomed the Ice Demons into their society. Since that time, the Ice Demons have served as staunch allies of the Vori Elves.
NOTE: These refgee Ice Demons were all but eliminated in the destruction of Enroth (caused by Armageddon's Blade and the Sword of Frost). The Ice Demons who appear in Heroes IV are comprised of the ones who never escaped Kreegan opression and continue to serve as unwilling slaves to the Devils.
I hope that explains things sufficiently. If you need another reason, just go with the fact that Ice Demons are icy creatures, and thus belong in snow-based armies. They are not really 'Demons'.

I've finished copying all the potential Vori Elven heroes' biographies and names which I created a few years ago. You can view them in the Recruitment part of the Two Islands forum. I'll be updating it with creature backstories and perhaps a few pictures in the near future. Hopefully some of the ideas will be good enough to appear in the mod.
By the way, Magister180888, nice shield. It'd make a good emblem for the Regnan faction.

Sorry, but we're releasing media, that are good to see by others. Because some things there, are under early development and should not be viewed. ;)
And yes, forum is in Polish, but we're working on making it also in English.

I'm not participating in the creation of the Regnan town on as hardcore a scale as the Vori town, but the other members of the team may find a good use for some of those pictures.
If it's okay with you, I'm planning to recolour the huntress and use her portrait for the Auril hero. You can view all the heroes I've proposed for the Vori town in the Two Islands forum.
It's obvious that you're trying your very hardest to help out, and I appreciate that very much. However, the number of pictures you place in the thread is pretty large. I'm not sure, but perhaps that's why you were silenced for a while, despite the fact that you were just trying to help us out. Perhaps you'd consider posting links to the images instead, just to make it easier on other users with slow computers who have trouble uploading the images.
Your input is highly appreciated, so don't be discouraged. Just don't overdo it!
