Pendant of Mastery
I really don't understand the Pendant of Mastery. According to the in-game information, the Pendant of Mastery "grants hero a free level of his or her primary skill. This level is gained even if the hero's skill is on Expert level." When does this free level occur? I was playing with Kaspar and had:
1 Ultimate Necromancy (Banshee Howl, Eternal Servitude,
2 Expert Attack (Battle Frenzy, Cold Steel, Power of Speed)
3 Basic Logistics (Logistics, Death March)
4 Expert Enlightment (Scholar, Lord of the Undead, Dark Revelation)
5 Advanced Dark Magic (Master of Curses, Master of Pain)
6 Expert Warmachines (Ballista, First Aid, Plague Tent)

can anyone help me? I made a map for H5 Hof 2.1 and it doesn't work. A map made in 1.5 works, so wat is the deal with hof?

i have two questions: i was playing a multiplayer map only myself. next day when i loaded it, the game crashed.
Second question: i bought some army and the next day they had disappear. Why? i have HoF 2.1 and Homm 5 1.5

Is this normal...I was playing against the warlock and Puppeted his hydras to block the shooters with. When I attacked the group,
MT
SM-HY
AS
With my HY the attack only hit the Shadow Matriarchs. Why didn't the attack hit all three units as is normal for the deep hydra?
I don't think it's a bug, but I'm not sure it's a good design decision.

okay,since alc shut my thread and guided me to the question topic(thanx btw) i'd like to ask,does any1 know what maybe the problem with my editor,every time i try to create a duel preset it says:H5 map editor has encountered a problem and needs to close,if any1 knows what might be the prob please tell me and thanx for ur cooperation

You must patch the game. You apply the 1.4 first, 1.41 and 1.5 in this sequence. The patch must match your game version so if it's english you will get the eu version etc. If you dl the wrong patch you won't be able to patch the game.

editing duel heroes is only possible using the normal HoMM version 1.5 map editor,HoF's 2,1 version can't edit duel presests

Can't open official maps
As I cannot create a new thread, I hope you will not get angry for hijacking this thread. Does anybody know how to open the maps which comes with game with map editor, because I really got tired of searching enemy castles everywhere while the AI find me immediately. This is also much needed as homm5 is much more demanding as homm3 and it take a lot of (real) time to go everywhere.
I hope I posted in right place.

No you posted at the right place Unfortunately I can't help you, the official maps are not in a maps folder or something to edit at your pleasure. When map editor was released we did not get them either but I have heard of some people who managed to do it.
