Heroes 5 Tote problem
Heroes 5 Tote problem
hey folks,
just installed the game.
when i try to run it the wallpaper comes on for a sec then game starts going into windowed mode, then i can hear ubisoft video and that's it...
tried switching to 1024x768 res, cuz run 1440x900, now i actually see ubisoft video on full screen about half way everything freezes...
any ideas?
my video is ati x850 platinum 256mb with latest drivers.

Playing again campaigns, but with 1.6 patch. And now wondering...to get ultimate skill, which skill wheel to follow? The one that came with Tribes? Or (not really skill wheel) Age of Heroes' skill pages?
For instance, Urgash Call, what do I need?

Hi I got one question. when i played sylvan in the beginning of a game and used imbue arrow. the only spell i coulde use was slow ( i didn't have many spells) but when i shott the imbue arrow nothing happened to my target. and one other thing. does rain of arrows only work on favoured enemy?

Under what patch? Earlier it did not work unless you had deadeye shot. And rain of arrows only on favoured.

Hi,
- In the mission "Last Soul Standing" - When I get to the wich hut, she asks for 10 glowing ore. All is fine, but I "took" that mine with my only scout ... and now I can't seem to progress i.e. the forge and the wich hut's quest. True or ?

you should be able to get the ore with a scout, but you can't get it BEFORE going to the hut for the first time
(it says something like: "there is some weird glowing ore but you don't know what to do with it").
Yeah, the script on that sidequest is lame like that.

Hi,
- Well I took the hut, then she askes for glowing ore, some resources and 10 zombies. I had all that when I got to her ... BUT remember I took the mine with a scout and it said ; You got 10 glowing ore / BUT it didn't say that when I "re-took" it with my main.
Then tried to speak to her again with my main ( as she's the one that needs the quest ) but no go !
- Then I went to the 2way portal to the Forge ..and nothing happend ( I have the 1 part of the key ) - SO to me it seems that I need to take the whole shabang with my main to get it to work ... or is there a way around it all - i.e. DO I need the quest from the hut ( it's a secondary objective ) ?
- If not I'm just gonna replay it :/

She asks for fifty Zombies doesn't she?
And no, you don't need to do that quest. Just get both halves of the key (one is near your castle, the other is east of her hut, guarded by Dragons) and bring them to the Elemental Forge. Of course, it's hell trying to win that scenario without upgrades. I used all alternate upgrades and still I only barely scraped a win with Vampire Princes and Banshees the only stacks remaining.

I was wondering wether there is a tread about Mods for TotE ? Like, Text mod, that shows details from town bonus, formals for hero specials those. and the game Skillwheel? .
