Insults to other members are against the code of conduct, as has been mentioned many times.

As much as I agree with Xartucksmein.
I have to say that the times are changing.
Mods have new jobs.
The newer people are not who we were in the past.
Unfortunately I doubt it would come to those times again.
I think it's like real life.
People are more prepared for that.

OK, I have read all of this thread, and have refrained from posting, until now.
The way I see it was that Lich was just doing a cleanup of threads that in no way brought any positive things to the community.
Yes I read the thread at one stage, and it did not make this community any better, it sorta made it worse, as a lot of negativity was being produced in the posts.
Sir_Stiven is banned, and the thread was made ages ago, I do not know why you are complaining?
I would like to thank Lich for doing his job, and actually taking some of the negativity out of here, although it was not as bad as it was when people were posting in it (the negativity I mean).
Sure, there were some posts which were really good, but the thread brought nothing to this forum, and that is why I think that Lich may have deleted it.
Sure, it may have or may not have been by accident, but who cares?
Some of you need to realize that it is not easy being a moderator.
How about you be a moderator, and then you having to think of decisions like deleting a thread or whatever.
It is not easy, but Lich made a decision, and imo, it was the correct decision, and I think some of you just have to get over the fact that the thread is gone, and it might not be coming back.
Some of you also need to let go of the past, and perhaps look towards making the future of HC better, and not like what happened in that thread.
Deleting the thread was a good decision imo.
Anyway, that is all I have to say on this matter, feel free to comment.

With something like this, the people who post are normally only the ones who didn't want the threads deleted. That's one sided and gives a distorted view of how the community feels about the subject.
The (probably) majority of members who don't care don't bother posting. But posting that you don't care is just as legitimate a statement as posting that you don't want them deleted.
Well, I don't care either. I don't care if they get deleted, but I don't care if they stay either. So if some members want them to stay, that's fine with me also.

Valeriy said he would look into it further when time permits, so lets leave this at that then.
