Indeed. But then it has to be different kind of werewolves. As I said somewhere else, think of the werewolves from Underworld and Underworld Evolution.
William was a son of his father Alexander Corvinus. William also had an brother, Marcus.
Marcus got bitten by a vampire bat and became the first and most dangerous of them.
William got bitten by a wolf and became the first werewolf, a white one. He was the kind of werewolf that has no chance in nature to turn back to human form. And he was very infectious, and resisted heavy loads of damage and suffering (he even survived several hundred years in a prison). As he took bites of several hundred humans, they also turned to werewolves, also they infected even more. Many were slayed by the vampires but quite alot also survived, as hundred of years passed, in secret many humans turned to werewolves up today. But as the years have passed, humans, at least the srongest have learned to control their shape without the influence of moonlight.
Now to my point, these strongest werewolf which can shape form at will would fit very well as werewolf heroes (who on Tellus would have an rabid wolf like William as hero?? He would just make chaos! Figure..)
Some could also be fitting as witchdoctors/shaman creatures, at tier 3 or 5 maybe. A werewolf could be as said at tier 4. Ordinary wolf, as the neutrals in HoF could be fitting as tier 3 (I think they indeed are lvl 3 neutrals, so no change needed). Will O Wisps could be lvl 2's, then again lesser wolves a tier 1. Dont quite know which creature that would be fitting as level 6 or 7.

The Manticore is already in the game ... My wishes would be:
Haven: This one is tricky, actually. I would say Pikeman (2) because it has a strategic function not really present in any of the other units except perhaps the Squire. And I also kind of liked the giant War Catapult (6) of Heroes 4.
Sylvan: I would have to say Pegasus (6) because it's such a nice classic creature. And Satyr (3) as a low-level caster could actually work.
Academy: I will go a bit against the Heroes tradition and opt for Basilisk (4) here, in the desert snake version. And Sphinx (6) could also make a very nice beast.
Inferno: Deffinitely the Efreet (6) - how could they ever kill them? And the Gog (2), although a pathetic unit, was a nice concept.
Necropolis: The Death Knight (6) is already her, and so is the Mummy, so I don't really see any needs for further Necropolis neutrals.
Dungeon: Again I would go a bit towards tradition and say Gorgon (6) because it would go well with the scaly looks of this faction. Other options would be the already existant Manticore (6), and I would also like to see the Beholder back, perhaps as mid level caster?
Fortress: The Wolf (3) would go nicely here. And the Thunderbird (5) would also fit the theme, albeit being pretty close to the Thane it'd probably be kind of redundant.

The roc should go with the fortress. For refference, I am refering to the roc from Sinbad, legend of the seven seas. It was sortof like harpy eagle, but white and blue, with uber awesome plumage.

Good heavens no. There's already a catapult unit in the game and it is a war machine and i firmly believe that it should stay a war machine. An aura possessing templar unit with the ability to smite the undead or demons could be a choice.
Sylvan: Hmmm... Pegasi with an elf rider... Doesn't somehow fit. Satyr could do nicely. Faerie Dragon wouldn't be such a bad idea either
Academy: Sphinx would be interesting. I would still like to see a mechanogorgon.

Well, tastes differ. There is already a templar knight in the game (= Paladin).

Unused creatures in H5 from H3, minus the magic elemental (), which could be added; *s show my top 5
Naga *, Troglodyte, Harpy, Beholder / Evil Eye *, Medusa *, Pikeman / Halberdier, Monk, Gog / Magog, Efreet, Pegasus *, Gnoll
Lizardman, Dragon Fly / Serpent Fly, Basilisk *, Gorgon, Wolf Rider, Ogre, Roc, Thunderbird, Behemoth
Those 5 would look most impressive and sensible in the new 3D engine, IMO.
Other possibilities
Valkyrie, Faerie, Chimera, Einherjar, Sphinx, Satyr / Faun, Werewolf (I'm not his biggest fan though)
Sylvan - Satyr (3) / Faun (2) / Pegasus rider (5)
Haven - ???
Academy - Sphinx (3)
Fortress - Valkyrie (6) / Chimera (6) / Efreet (6)???
Inferno - Efreet (6)
Necropolis - Ghoul, Revenant (4)
Dungeon - Beholder (4) / Chimera (6)
Haven's tricky - there's barely room for another human unit (just how different would a crusader be from a squire, a monk from a priest?), and there are few creatures that really go. Pegasus is possible but it's better in Sylvan or Fortress (Valkyrie); hmm, maybe Sphinx would work...

I think instead of incorporating some human type unit into the Haven it would be better to add some kind of mythical beast unit. The problem is nothing seems to fit their line up. There could be many interesting possibilities but most will be met with that "uh I don't think it looks right alongside the paladins, priests and swordsmen" by most people. A fully armored gorgon would look nice IMHO.

Its sad that no one never did this: Griffen Rider - Would have been awesome , sadly no third upgrades, and the alt will not be with a rider .. But there must be something else ... Sad that rogues and there kind has been stolen by the dark elves...

Can't use the griffin rider cuz you don't want having two units in your line up looking the same. I can't believe I didn't think of this before. White Tigers for HAVEN!!!!
