To simply things, this discussion was what neutral creature would make good addition to the game plus can complement the existing factions. Thunderbirds were suggested. It was then pointed out that the pao-kais have the same powers which would make it redundant to have two creatures behaving the same way. They are not upgrades of each other nor are they in the same town. But they still fly, shoot lightining and are immune to lightning. Hence, they would essentially be two creatures. And it would be a waste of space having two creatures whose sole difference is their outward appearance. This is as clear as I can make myself..

Well thunderbirds don't consume corpses  And if Nival ever intended to do that the other units would get a different alternate as well, not another version of their model.

No one is suggesting changing species. The whole argument revolves around the point that since there already are pao-kais in the game which FUNCTIONALLY are similar to thunderbirds there would be NO REASON to have the same type of creature around. Pao-Kais and their upgrades are EXACTLY the same as Rocs and Thunderbirds in terms of their abilities, who they will be employed on the battlefield and tactics. Hence only one such creature can exist! And since Pao-Kais have already been CONFIRMED to be part of the Bastion, there would be NO POINT in having thunderbirds and rocs around because if u strip them off their scales or feathers and take away how they look and transfer their powers into some jelly-like or any freaking creature, they would move, act, attack, fly and react in the EXACT same way. Now do you get the point???

Humm, I was under the impression someone wanted that thing as an alternative upgrade for Pao-kais xD
And that they are the same concept, that was clear.

Well, for someone running around shoting at others they are dense, I'm quite surprised to see that the Naga is the #1 on his list of Neutrals he wants to return to the game. I don't even want to bother with a comparison of the Naga to the Rakshasa, but please be a bit more civil in your tone.

I my self, were a HUGE pokemon fan and all the names, looks and that stuff is stuck inside my head! A Nine-Tailed fox = Ninetails = Vulpix evolotion, you want a pokemon in the game? what Japanese guy did you smoke? (no offense to pokemon, which only beated by WoW, was for a time the biggest RPG game... Yes, its simpel but it is RPG)

Actually, A nine-tailedf fox does exist in the game. The Pokemon you where talking about is probably based on it.
As for games, I'd say Zodkay has been playing a little bit of Okami lately.

Exist in HoMM game or in a game? Confused me a lit and cannot find any creature in HoMM story with 9 tails

Oops, sorry, I don't know why I typed that, my mind must've wandered off. What I meant to say is that a nin-tailed fox exists in Chinese/Japanese Mythology.
