Markal is the best! All you have to do is to get out of the town, have a little walk on the map, gather all the undead creatures and obliterate your enemy. Of course it he would be available in skirmish. And from the non-campain heroes Naadir.

Raelag(whatever, intimidiate or master of initiative some more initiative is the best thing you can want)

if the map has a lot of undead neutrals then Markal is the best, if not I'd go with the HoF Raelag (master of initiative)

If you like Markal for the neutral joiners you will better like Rolf his ability is golden tongue (every neutral would join him and he also salvages resources from battles)

i would have to say nebiros.
with his FREE tactics and +1 luck i began to enjoy inferno again.
even though it doesn't matter what level he is he still has a great earlygame.

I wasn't aware you got tactics... didn't you simply get counter-tactic (opponents cant use tactic)

What about the new Freyda? Divine Vengeance with every light spell? You can't tell me that's not awesome. And since Haven desn't really have difficult early game, that skill is pretty good.

nicolai the vampire lord was the best hero. heīs movement was running itīs different from other necro heroes- closest battle for me for all of the heroes games.
