How do I turn off all shadows? I just read someone did that to make his game run smoother.
And, are there any other things I can do to make the game smoother on a lesser machine (besides turning graphics to "very low")?

what is this
when i go in game mechanics there are only 2 profiles (there are supposed to be more) only creatures and creatures visual are there, when i go in the creatures profile there are only necropolis and neutrals and when i go in the necrpolis there only two creatures. why are the others missing

Is there a way to mod Dungeon's beta elemental chains back into the game?
Now that I know what the beta elemental chain is, I can't play Dungeon again without feeling like a gullible 8 year-old. Since it was in the beta, maybe it's still in the game code?

I'll let romanov77 answer to your first question, as he is the one using the tweaks. If it helps, we discussed the subject in this thread.
For the elemental chains, I'm afraid that the .exe file contained most of the beta mechanics, not the files in data.pak. So I don't think it's possible.
@skullman:
you're looking into data.pak? Then use a real archiver like winrar. Windows explorer is unable to list all files, like you say.

Creatures icons in data.pak are in
H5 creatures: Textures/Interface/CombatArena/Faces/
HoF creatures: UI/H5A1/Icons/Creatures/
ToE creatures: UI/H5A2/Icons/Creatures/

problem in cheating!
look, i edited autoexec.cfg in the right way i guess
but i still cant get the console to work!
is it because i got version 1.6?
btw i didnt use patch 1.1 and 1.2 and 1.3 i just installed 1.4 and then 1.41, 1.5 and then 1.6
is it the reason

wrong again, the input is in the wrong place you are editing the input at the same folder as autoexec in other words Game_Folder there is another one in documents/my games/heroesofmightandmagic5/profiles/you'r profile. the input there is correct if you edit the other input the console won't work hoever you edit it correctly
