This may not be godly, but..to the newbie's
I, on behalve of all *member's of the community*, which have been so systematicly stereotyped as newbie's, am proud to oblige you all with the TRUTH, about these *regular's*.
Perhap's I'll even lose a star  LMAO
Anyway's, on with my *CLEAR POINT*...
No matta' who you are, where your from, or what you say, you WILL be steped on by these cynical hater's.
It's the only way they can feel apart of, something in they're live's.
I guess stepping stool's are a part of everything, and I KNOW, that this is the only place they got.
I garantee deletion of this post, so they can hide what they fear the most.
I had it for a bit, wanted to have fun. It's just like a video game. PLayed out, and on resale at funco land. LMAO
I wont hurt Valerie, he has infact made a lovely site. It's just full of the trash, from everyone else.

Didn't step on me yet... and I am a newbie. Maybe it's because I don't repeat messages... but that's my opinion. At any rate, some newbies do contribute worthwhile material, but for the new "excitees" that repeat four topics I don't like it too much.

Interesting! Sorry you feel that way. I have enjoyed some of your posts and it was beginning to feel like you were a regular here. I must have missed something.
We all have bad days, maybe tomorrow will be better.

Sort of... but I guess it is all a part of the learning process. For both of us as well... the regulars need to realize they will always have newbies like me reposting and giving ideas they have already heard, and newbies will need to know that there will always be regulars out there expressing themselves and trampling over them so they will post what the regulars want to talk about.
It is interesting... but I don't care too much.

Please clarify your complaint.
Do you not feel welcome? I hope that's not the case because I have been reading your stuff and like it. It takes time for people who have been writing to one another for months to warm up to someone new, but if you enjoy the posts here please stay.
Complaints that a new member might have:
1. Someone yelling at them about their avatar.
I think it is unfair to yell at someone who uses a custom avatar by mistake. The avatars are not locked, so this problem will persist until they are. Allot of new members only post on one occasion, cut the person some slack and tell them about customs and reserved avatars when they are comfortable.
2. Someone mocking their new thread because its been said many times before.
I think it is ridicules to ask a new member to wade back into the archives to find a particular thread that deals with their question or idea. If you have seen the idea before either don't post on the thread, or answer the question and try to find a new angle on the strategy.
3. Not being included in "chat" type threads.
It takes time to get to know someone. Spend that time and you will have fun.
4. Getting flamed as a newbie?
I really haven't noticed this happening.
Are any of these your problem?

BTW: who is a newbie actually? I mean, I'm here since July 1st (not really that much time), spent about 6 hours per day in this board, have a postcount of 700+ yet, i still feel a ewbie even compared to people with one yellow star...
EDIT: some of "you newbies" actually blend in very well ...take Darion for example...

Ah, I planed on that being my last post, yet I'm inflicted with what seem's like a desiese. A plauge if you may..
Old timer, and Craig hack. You both, have alway's been some of my favriot poster's.
You all might be asking, "What flicked this guy off?"
Well, I said three nice thing's about Lord_Wock, (another of my favriout poster's) wether or not he caught all three, I know he saw one.
Stepped on my face, along with Lith, and... *finger's clenching* shae. Like *Sha* said,
"It would be rude to name my least favriout poster's. It wouldn't be rude to name my favriout, however I would leave some out.."
I left some out of my least favriout poster's.
I do apologise about the nasty thing's I said earlier.
I was pretty upset, and I stereotyped *all of you* as either newbie's like me, or face smashing regular's like Shae.
I wont name my favriout poster's because.. I would leave some out, w/out a doubt I would. There are way more of you, than Shae's out there.

I have been here for a while Celfious and I've seen new posters come and come and come (my three favourite words!) I've always looked forward to the opinion of someone who isn't a regular poster because it lends a certain unpredictability to a conversation or thread when things become stale. Darion for example, is quietly plugging away at a reputation for himself that is gaining everyone's respect. Nobody jumped on him when he first came.
I think that you're actually one of the nicer guys around although I have deliberately tested the boundaries with you. I mean no harm by it. I think you're a poster with geniune potential too, although how much of that potential you show is entirely up to you and nobody else.
Nobody forces you to stop posting here, there is no conspiracy of regulars who whisper in each other's ears about the new people. Maybe you've been watching too much X-files, but 'cynical haters'?! Stepping stools?!
I take real offence to that and were I in a more sour mood then maybe I might have said some real offensive things in return.... but somehow I think you're expecting that from me.
Listen, it's as simple as this. You are welcome here, anyone is welcome here. There are oldies there are generation X-ers and there are the young ones. These are titles afforded to us by time itself, not by our own esteem, so if you think that a regular poster like me is out to 'face smash' you just so I can get some kicks, then you're very very wrong. It makes me really mad to know that someone can insult me personally in such a way and I have to refrain from saying something in return. But it's even sadder to know that someone actually thinks of the community in this way.
I will give you a fine upstanding example of a so-called 'newbie'. Milena. She's been here barely a week or two more than you and she has shown enough courage and self respect to transcend the boundaries of what you claim a new poster should do. She has contributed to discussions all over the board, been given quality points and made friends with everyone.
There is no such thing as egg-shells around here Celfious. We're all adults (even the ones that aren't adults behave older than some of us, lol!) and we've been discussing heroes and related things for some time now and we're not so easily turned into face smashers as you say. Sure people have their preferences, but me and Sha have done more face smashing with each other than any other members on the board.
I am disappointed in you Celfious. I tested you to see how thick your skin was. It's now plainly evident that the only hatchling who hasn't emerged from their egg yet is you and everybody else has to tip toe, less they crush your fragile ego.

Yes, beacause look at the facts - I have only 120+a little bit posts in the amount of time I'm a member - that's miserable (I'm insulting myself  )!
But I think that finnaly I'm starting to go somewhere (maybe to the deepest hole in the whole world LoL) I have posted somethin' like 10-20 post one after another (In the "tell thruth..." thread mostly) yesterday - that's something big for me !
Man, I wrote it! I don't know why, though !
BTW, cellfius (sorry if I misspelled it) Is that THREE POST IN A ROW ? I never did that! Maybe I should try ^_^

Shae is Shae...and no warning is enough to understand the danger when stepping into her zone.
Get to know "the regulars". Sending IM want hurt you. Make post that you are remembered from and soon you will be regular.
It is easy as it's sounds like.

A newbie should finally speak up here
For those who still don't know me, my name is Milena and I'm a newbie here.
True. Despite my Supreme status, I have been posting for 6 weeks here now. I have to admit I already got addicted because this place is so clean and neat and friendly. Celfious, it is not hard to be a newbie on this board. You just have to hop in, smile at the others and wait them to smile at you as well. Be sincere and polite and ask when you don't understand something. And this is it. *smiles* When you are nice to the others, they will return you the attitude. At least here, there is no prejudice against new members, trust me. Try to relax, take it easy and ask if you think there was sth unclear. If anything bothers you in particular, feel free to send me an IM and we will talk. talking via IM can often solves potential conflicts. If someone is not very kind, try to joke and stuff, everyone has their bad days. I see you made some good posts here and I have tried to express my appreciation. :-) Keep on like this, enjoy the talks and in no time you will forget you are supposed to be a newbie. :-)

I was a little put off by her when I first got here but as I got to know her a little better.... well, I'm just scared
No really, Shae_ is probably the most romantic person on the board, she just doesnt want it to show too much. An exiteing, interesting, thinking person with a few sharp edges!
