How do you mean? i know how to change the file type to mb, i think. But i honestly don't know what the file type is for.

It's probably a 3d file, isn't it. Well, it's just that is totally amazed by Xview, since it can change every file to what you want(but i'm not saying it is working)

I'm confident one day, someone will "crack the code" so-to-speak. And when that happens, Heroes V modding/playing mods will be much more fun... obviously.

To the best of my knowledge, all that's needed is someone who has Maya.

Some sort of summary:
Maya -> Game : Done for all I think, although I've seen no evidence.
Game -> Maya : Done for meshes only, but format issues mean you can't just convert back via the Maya->Game method (don't get this bit - it's what CrazyPill and Neckie are discussing in that thread).
Game -> 3DS : Again, done for meshes.
3DS -> Game : Me, DS and CrazyPill started thinking about it (meshes only) but it's not been written.
Game <-> Blender : Might be possible if the above is achieved, but would need extra work (Blender is free btw).
