Nah; it's been a while so I'll just tell you: Selene's taking over Helnith because Aidrelas dragged her to the Spectral Dimension after the death of her One True Love, and he promised to raise the guy from the dead if she did. Strong emotion can take you over in the Spectral Dimension, and she was very grief-stricken at the time, so she agreed to it. She's not emotionally stable as a result, and prone to moments like you noticed. One of the Grunts you ran into on base is related to Misty though.
EDIT:

Give it two more levels.
Quote: I do have all my pokémon on me right?
Yes; I just put them back up in the CS thread.
EDIT again:
These are big battles, so if any of you notice anything not-quite-right (attacks not doing the damage they should, Pokemon not using their held item when they should, etc.) let me know; I'm only human and I make mistakes.

Hello. This might be a little bit of a bad timing, (as it should either be done earlier or later) but I don't think I can participate in this anymore. My frequency around here is simply far too unreliable nowadays.
I both want to thank you guys, especially Kareeah, but I also want to apologize for my inconsistency. When I started this I was unsure about my RPG-skills, and I still think they're not enough, as I put way too much thought into even the most simplest of things.
You may do as you please with Sarah, whatever happens, she can take it.
Btw, great picture.

Especially... Kareeah!? Was it Kareeah who created any meaningful purpose of your character through masterful seduction? Was it Kareeah who locked your character up in a jail cell while everyone else were ignoring you? Was it Kareeah who made your character soft in her knees everytime you interacted with her? Was it Kareeah who casted feather fall on herself while everyone else fell to their death? Was it Kareeah who set up the secret temple of jabanoss in her bedroom, praying every night for three months that you were alright and would soon return to us? No it was most certainly not!
Yet you don't even mention ...! Typical of a swede really.

Interesting... I can live with that! Calls dibs on Sarah for once in the future!

You've been a very good player Jaba, but I understand about other commitments taking over. I don't plan on killing Sarah off, so if you find time in the future and want to rejoin, feel free to drop in and say so.
Quote: Yet you don't even mention ...! Typical of a swede really.
Says the person who dropped out even earlier.
EDIT:
On a side note, who wants control of Jaba's puppet? I could write them out with Sarah, but given the difficulty of the battles going on I don't think it would be a good idea to take away TWO trainers' worth of Pokemon, so I'm not going to. If nobody calls dibs, I'll just auto the puppet.

@Mytical: I was going to put your Pokemon list here, and then remembered I never took you off the active player list in the first place. Just a reminder: gray square -> Mart, white square -> Pokemon Center, the triangle is the Ternai Town Tower, and the red square is the Gym.

Ah ok. So Misty is not in the town where the battle is taking place? Dang .. had an epic post I was going to make. *laughs* Time to get my bearing. Misty AWAY!
Edit : The post would have been the 'Mystery Trainer shows up, emerging from the dark of the night' type post. Waiting till the last minute to reveal that it was Misty. lol.

Healing takes 1 round per six Pokemon—you don't have to have all six be from the same trainer however. Let me know which Pokemon are going first. Those of you at the Center have three rounds before the frying pan dumps you into the fire.
And @ wog: Yes, I'll allow you to spam your stat boosts, use items or whatever. You'll probably need them...just remember you only have three rounds to do it in.
@ Mytical: I dunno, notice any foreboding background music lately?

Quote: ((Did I have to choose which pokemon could be healed? 6 all together or 6 each trainer?))
Six total, per round. So Round 1 lets you heal six Pokemon, Round 2 lets you heal six more, Round 3 lets you heal six more. But recalling Pokemon to be healed ends the effects of Double Team etc...and they can't use attacks on the round they're being healed, which is why I ask for the order. I'm counting Puppetman's Pokemon as already healed by the way.

Twiggin and Grimer is more useful with fantastic evasion than with a few more hitpoints.
Anyway, updated my post curious if any of the pokemon in the center knows stealth rock, toxic spikes or spikes
