No, they're watching Stacey's tournament battle. (The Bandra Breeder battle took/is taking place during Mina's match, about two-two and a half hours ago in-game.)

Also, winter pointed out to me that Steel types are resistant to Normal type attacks, so Alkar for your tournament match your Magnemite isn't unconscious.

I see. I was wondering what was better about taking 34 points of damage.

@Kareeah: I've never used Recycle myself, but methinks that you get the item back instantly (and thus can use it on the spot if conditions apply. )

Okay, that's how I'll do it then. Congrats Alkar, you aren't quite as screwed as you would have been otherwise.

If you just want the stuff from the RPG…

Quote:

Desparat:
The strange, new Pokémon looks like a porcupine with demon wings. It stands about 3 feet tall and is crimson red. ((Sandshrew-like arms and claws and legs. It has a reptilian-like head though.))

Angerazm:
This Pokémon stands about 2 feet tall and looks like a shrub. It has two branches with white leaves for arms and four legs that are its roots as well as its means of locomotion. Its head is bare, except for a halo on top of it. Its body (("skin", if you will.)) is sky blue.

Wiliter:
It is a small, red caterpillar like Pokémon. It has several pores on its back that release small amounts of fire and smoke at regular intervals. Its two frontal legs are a little bigger than the many other legs it has.

Pupawisp:
The Pupawisp looks like a normal bug cocoon, with the exception that its a shade of light red and it has two holes in the back that release heat as well as two eyes in front.

Wispafeyrn:
It is about 3 feet tall and is floating above the ground. It has a round body with two small, vestigial wings and two arms. It is red and has a head similar to that of a Butterfree.

Oodramer:
The Pokémon that breaks out of it is about four feet tall, with the tail of a merman, the head of a dragon, and the body of snake ((it has two arms though)). At least, that's what it appears to be, since it seems to be made of a strange liquid you've never seen before.

I think that’s all we’ve run into so far.

((You sure you want to do that Alkar? Slugma’s held item heals HP and Munchlax is still Paralyzed; you could still make it.))

I'm pretty sure. Like I said, I don't want to repeatedly call out for Hidden Power. Would get a little boring. And that one would seem to be the most damaging attack, even though the Ember gets that same type bonus.

If you want, you could run through a number of rounds, and see what happens. I'd probably continue to use hidden power, or ember, for the majority. Especially since that smog would only be a little helpful, since I can't poison the munchlax now, and substitute wouldn't be of much use either.

*starts crunching numbers*

winter I need to know if you’re using the Gen IV stats for Berries or the Gen III stats for an accurate calculation.

Since we're using 4th edition abilities and such, I'd expect it to be 4th edition on the berries too.

What's this now? I was under the impression that I was switching while the other trainer was switching. That's how it works in the game, no?

There's no reason I'd switch if that forfeits an attack.

I would too, but the eggs weren't so I want to check before I post my calculations.

@Korejora:
You lose a turn if you switch just to switch (like when the Breeder switched out Skarmory for Seviper earlier; that's why Alkar got in a "free" Supersonic), but not if you're replacing a fainted Pokemon. The Breeder's Skamory fainted; he's replacing it so he doesn't lose a turn.

This wasn't a switch in the middle of a fight; it was in response to the Skarmory fainting. In the game, if you faint an opposing Pokémon, you get a chance to switch without penalty as they send out their new Pokémon.

That's the best part.
