Even if I take this thing out, chances of me being able to take the rest out are slim. I would have to be one of the luckiest people in the world. One hit each will take out my pokemon

My team is perfectly balanced to take out the winner from the last tournaments. As for the others, sadly my team is lacking. I will probably be taking the sudowoodo if I manage to pull of a Miricle

@Misty: Popped back in for a sec to tell you that Torment lasts until the Sudowoodo decides to switch out, so your second usage of Torment on the same Pokémon will fail (go edit your post! ).
Anyways, I'm out now (for real this time). *waves*

Curse IIRC works like Burn or Poison--it subtracts health each turn.
(But only when used by Ghost types, oddly enough. Non-Ghosts just get their stats alterred.)

Yes, the curse will stay effective. So no need to use it again (beside the fact that it would faint my pokemon).

Ooooh another thought, though I need some assistance with it. Lick first round, that is a given (chance to paralyze is too much a temptation) but help me out here.
Curse..does it poof if the pokemon faints? If not, second round will be a curse. If so it will be a Lick anyhow.

I don't know. :\ I checked serebii.net and bulbapedia both, but all they say is 'Curse functions differently for Ghost types than for all other types'. Well, duh. And it's been so long since I played G/S I can't remember from my own experience.

I don't really understand what you're asking. If the cursed Pokémon faints, the curse is removed, like all other effects. However, if the ghost casting the curse faints because they were at half or less when they used the move, the move will still resolve and the opponent will lose 1/4 of their health each turn, unless they're switched out.

@Misty: Korejora is right. In addition, suicide Cursing is irritating in that:
You're guaranteed to inflict 1/4 damage in tournaments (since you can't switch your Pokémon when you knock out the opposing Pokémon; said another way, the switch is instant.). Even if he wanted to switch out the 'Shrew, the poor mouse would lose 1/4 before it could switch.

Hmm...well, you switched out, so he gets a free turn.
When he sent out his Sandshrew, it was because you had fainted his Sudowoodo. You don't get a free turn in that case (same reason why he won't a free shot against whomever you send out now. However, if you send out your Geodude, it's almost KO'ed! )
