[ToK] The Beta
This thread is a sub-thread of Tales of Karador.
Another open Beta has been released this one is 3.1 compatible and includes some buxfixes, but it still contains just Capaign one. Additionally, the install wizard now finds the insall path using the Registry, BUT this only works for the European version. So can some players who don't have the European send me the path to the InstallPath file in the registry? Thanks.

Finally, I have a Beta ready to be tested and now I'm looking for Beta Testers. This is the moment you've all been waiting for you can now ask to become a tester, but you should not apply to be a Tester just because you like playing it, as a tester you have a certain task which is specified below:
1. If you've found a bug please report it in this thread.
2. Test the Nexus through and through as some creatures might be under/overpowered.
3. Do not release or spread this Beta anywhere, keep it for yourself, but you are allowed to post screenshots 
4. Make note of the level you get to at the end of each Map so I can set the Level caps which has not been done yet.
Ther will be no more than 5 10 Beta Testersthose who come faster can become a tester more easily.  [/Old post]

With 10 testers you'll catch just the most common bugs, believe me you need at least 20

Sure, but then we suffer a much higher risk of the beta being leaked (not that I don't trust you guys, but it can happen)

Download complete. I started playing.
First impression: Simply amazing! Feels like a H5 expansion (even the installation!) and looks even more enjoyable. The story is just classic and I love it. I'm playing now the first mission, and enjoying every moment of it. It works very smoothly, and doesn't get my computer stuck and slow like the regular TotE campaign does.
Bugs that I found:
-Karador's speaking sound is muted.
-There are two typoes in the intro of the first mission: "wich" instead of "which" and "begane" instead of "began".
-It's really hard to understand the speaking - without the text below I wouldn't understand them.
I noticed that you put my Djinn right on the beginning. Makes me feel proud.
