warmonger has two more points!
the wand(a good trick vs demon lords, but does anyone know its effect on counterspell?)
high level gotai
helmar, pristine unicorns, vessel of elrath still require that you cast a spell first, which would require mana
not sure about mass haste or mass endurance from the perks
@carcity: counterspell doesn't work if you don't have enough mana to absorb the spell(i mean sure you still get to cast it, but it won't do anything except waste your turn )
still at least 2 more ways!

Well I don't understand how come the Dwarven Set and Lethos were accepted while Weakening Strike not. Aren't those 'special' spells as well?
Oh and if the Dwarven Set was accepted then I guess Elemental Balance is also one way to cast a spell without mana? (if the enemy casts Summon Elementals or Phoenix, of course)

I thought an Empowered Spell with Sinitar's reduction still cannot cost less than the original? Or was that only pre-TotE?

well once I cheated into a Sinitar lvl 40 and all his spells did cost the same (both empowered and normal) aand if I remember correctly I think armageddon costed one mana less. anyway there is no possibility for me to try that cause the file where you enter the thing that allows you to cheat is gone. I don't really know why.

How can a creature die when waiting in a turn? This includes dying at the start of the turn as well.
