This is a contest? Samus doesn't even need a full round. Freeze, missile, over. Samus is victorious.
Oh and Asheera Samus was in Metroid, Master Chief in Halo. Never played either?

Gordon Freeman is not in any fights in this thread, and is completely off topic.
There is a reason for that, because he is a joke and would die in two seconds against Master Chief because he's just some dude with glasses. Crowbar no effect. Gordon Freeman would lose to everyone in this thread (with the possible exception of a pear).
Case closed. No more fanboy spam! Go to gamespot if you want to talk about him.

That may be so (though I believe the mode Heroic is supposed to be the most accurate representation, not Legendary), but the fact that Master Chief is able to get through all those levels in all three campaigns should indicate something; he's good

well if master chief can make it through all the campaign with only whipped cream for armor how do you think he will do vs Samus?
Viewing it from that perspective, Samus is weaker than the chief because she needs a bigger arsenal than the chief who can destroy an entire space station just by using a hand gun+assault riffle
Isnt Samuses armor robotic? Well master chief just sends in cortana
 to hack the body armor so her big canon doesnt work
Unless she ejects, shes toast. Whats her arsenal outside the armor suit?
Also ive read on wikipedia that samus wrecked a couple of planets...
What stops her from just destroying the whole arena where master chief is and killing him instantly before making contact?

Superhuman strength, superhuman speed, superhuman endurance, superhuman sight, etc. I am not joking on this.
She is geneticaly modified(on the top of training from her childhood), and she can survive in non-human atmospheres without the suit on the top of that. Cheif is geneticaly optimized and just human, in contrast which is ages weaker.
The suit is nothing more than a overpowered amplifier with a decent gun on the top of that.
Cheif is all about his hack addition and mjolnir-suit, which also is ages behind. Without it, he is just notches above a normal human.
Basicaly, Samus would outpower cheif without her suit and overkill him with. Thats hard facts. She is also "planet purging" as chef is, the difference is the "age" and enemies.

halo opts for realism while metroid is this big die hard fantasy sci fi world where everything is saturated in technology
My vission of a Aran vs chief match
Aran walks through a derelict star ship.
She pauses(her spider sense, tingling) right under a metal beam
Master Chief jumps on her back and rams the cortanas chip into the back of Arans head(assuming the armor can house such a device).
Cortana takes over the suit and Aran ejects.
That makes it 2 against 1.
Arans suit and master chief.
What do you think Aran does next?

The thing is, barely charged shoot from Samus blaster will tear a hole in master Cheifs suit if the sheilds are a little down.
With the suit on, Samus is capabel of punching the mjolnir suit to pieces. Without the suit, the visir is at the worsts till punchable.
And Samus suit does not have a reloading shield, which is a disadvantage. The advantage is how superior the sheild on the suit is, which is a superior tradeof going in numbers(Cheifs suit only saves him from a good attack, then he can be shoot to death)

gah... factually master chief lost by a landslide(their technology is waaaay to different for it to be a fair match)

Omega, I consider myself an expert on the subject. I have witnessed official (legit) dogma footage of many fights involving Samus, and have since my childhood.
Similarly, I have seen Samus defeated many times. She is not so great as she is hyped up to be.
For example, I have seen Samus been smacked down hard by a plumber in a red suit, and Kirby.
All that technology can't save her against a good punch by a giant gorilla sporting a red tie!

Ok, as the Marvel (and Hulk & Wolverine) Geek i am, i simply can't read some of the older posts without having some twitches in my right foot, caused by inaccurate knowledge from some. Please do not change any results or the outcome of fights, this should not be altered, since people voted. But i'm simply bored & also quite keen of real facts regarding this, so read if you want some plain facts about The Hulk and Wolverine 
FIRST OF ALL, The hulk would beat every living (or unliving creature for that matter) due to the fact that his power is an endless loop. The hulk gets stronger by Anti-materia, Gamma & his own Rage. There is no "will eventually get tired and then turn back to bruce banner", there is no such thing. Even Beyonder, a semi-Cosmic being of galactical power that could alter space, time, reality and wishes, said that the hulk had no real height or limit of power, after analyzing this "loop" of his. To put it on plain English, the hulk is neverending, if he's facing an opponent such as herkules. The Hulk would simply get stronger and stronger, even if the battle took 10 years. Imagine his physical size and his power? In several marvel comics & movies the hulk has faced Gods, and the most notorious battles against gods must've been when Loki (Of the old, nordic religion) manipulated bruce banner and in that way manipulated The Hulk, and transformed him to Asghard/Valhalla. There the hulk knocked every god unconcious or actually killed them, including Thor. The Hulk is capable of taking direct hits from Thors divine hammer Mjollnir to his forehead and cranium without substaining any damage. The only beings the Hulk would have troubles with would be the Omni-potent ones that can actually manipulate cells and the crusts of cells + the Genie-beings from other Dimensions (They have powers similar to "I wish". They simply desire something and it happends.) The Hulk is also somewhat of walking nuclear spill, so he's highly radioactive.
And "logic" or "common sense" won't work in this case since this is marvel fact So yeah, hercules would take a beating, regardless his ancestors, eventually 
As for Wolverine vs The Thing, Wolverine would win as well. Thing is covered in rock-hide, and Wolverine's claws are made of Adamantium, ALIEN METAL!!!! Adamantium is metal, The Things Hide is Rock. Steel & Metal = Better molecular structure = piercing rock in the hands of WOLVERINE. Wolverine has also faced The Hulk on several occasions (And please, we all know that The Hulk would eat The Thing for supper) and lived. Wolverine has even pierced The Hulks skinn, and this has not happened many times as The Hulk's healing capacity is regarded as instant. Funny thing is, Wolverine's healing capacity is a model for ALL of Weapon X's healing factors as well as most others in The Marvel comics, making Wolverine the Father of healing, so the ignorant ones saying his healing capacity is overrated ... do your nerd-work
Wolverine has trained in numerous pure arts of combat, including several asian sensei's and several other nation-known arts of fighting, unlike Thing that knows how to punch a face. Wolverine is 100-200 years old (No fixed date !! ) and also at the peak of human fitness. He posesses Superhuman strenght, smell, sense of movement, and he's one of the smartest men alive, since he's walked the earth for many years, soley to learn. (too bad only a handful knows about this). Basically a fight Between Wolverine and The Thing would be a fight similar to: "Rhino Vs Fat Critter" ..

Hulk invincible? Nope. First I heard he is vulnerable to sonic attacks, and 2nd Juggernaut is superior to Hulk. An interesting quote too, which shows it's not biased opinion but rather 'official':Quote:

I hope that answers the question in enough detail. And please, check with Marvel to see that the answer is backed by the guys who bring you the books.
So Hulk not being invincible and so unstoppable as you said still doesn't really tell that he'll be a clear victor against Hercules.
