Yeah ! My contribution :

(I have been inspired by this. The 3D model has been made with Blender 3D)

Name :Evil Skull
Description : The Evil Skulls came from another dimension, the one of the Elder Nothing. They have been lead in Ashan by forces we can not understand. It is said that a huge transidmensional door appear one night, by the Haven town of Boissičre. From this door came the Evil Skulls, each as tall as a man, as tall as a Cyclop for the tallest skulls.
"They destroy the poor town in one night, the one they appear.
"A vagabond scholar surpised the town in flames, from far. He heard loads of cries coming from there, as inhuman, as... invivable, as strange... He had never heard that. It was horrible.
"He come closer to the town to know what was happening, to know what was the source of these horrible cries. And then he saw them. Fast, he took his pencil and his book of drawings and began to draw and describe these horrible, awesome things, hidden in a bush.
"It is said that after the draw has been finished, he became blind and, in wanting to leave, he fell in a large abyss, leaving only his drawings bookafter him.
"Other said that he has been smelled by the creatures and decomposed in fine grains of dust.
"Anyway, the only thing we find was his book with his name and profession in, opened at the page of the blasphemous drawing and notes that killed him but learnt to us so much."

(I didn't know I had this imagination !)

PS : Don't look at the mistake of english... However you understand the idea
PS 2 : Please ask questions about the story if you want some other details, I'll answer you with great pleasure !

Ok here's mine, just don't steal any ideas people!

Torex - Tier 6 Neutral (upgraded)

Attack:     25
Defense:    22
Damage:     22-33
Health:     80
Initiative: 11
Speed:      7

Abilities: Large Creature. Lethal Sting. Horrific Aura. Regeneration. Scavenger.

Description:
The Torex is a horrible creature, that comes from the depths of Ashan. Although not a demon itself, the Torex slays its victims in a terrible way, often torturing them and making them suffer as much as possible. Mostly the Dwarves and Dark Elves have problems encountering these creatures in the underground caverns, but there have been reports of them at the surface as well. Dying in the hands of a Torex is a death that you wouldn't wish on your most hated enemies; their deadly sting paralyzes which allows them to torture and eat their victims alive, while the poison from the sting gives you a slow and very painful death. The Torex also has the ability to regenerate its wounds quickly, especially when eating the corpses of other creatures.

New ability descriptions:

Lethal Sting: When attacking, the creature poisons the target, making it receive 6 points of poison damage the next 4 turns. In addition, the creature has a certain chance to paralyze the enemy target for 1.5 turns. A paralyzed creature does get its turn, so that it does receive poison damage, but will not be able to move at all, so the only option it can do is 'wait'. Moreover, paralyzed creatures can not retaliate. This ability has no effect on Undead, Elemental and Mechanical units.

Horrific Aura: This creature is so frightening that the attackers have problems striking a blow against it at times. Every melee attack has a certain chance to fail, meaning that the attacker won't assault this creature at all, but stop right next to it. It applies to retaliations against this creature as well (they have a certain chance to not happen). The chance depends on the Morale of the attacking creature: It is 50% - 5% x Morale (capped at -5/+5). It does not work on Undead, Elemental, Mechanical, and any other creatures with Immunity to Mind Effects.

So when having 5 Morale, the chance is 25%. 0 Morale leads to a chance of 50%, while -5 Morale makes you almost impossible to hit it in melee because of a 75% chance to fail.

Horroclopse (Wolf Ettin):

These abominations stem from the reclusive giant race known as ettins, who are two-headed giants that stand 12-16 feet tall. Each head has a separate brain and an individual conscious, and these two individuals must work together in moving the parts of their body. A nefarious covey of witches from the swamps convened to discuss dominating these giants to serve them. Because of the relatively low intelligence of the ettins and their peaceful nature, the witches succeeded. However, the witches were discontent with their new pets because despite their powerful bulk and strength, the ettins were passive creatures that wanted to spend most of their time singing and humming to themselves, hunting fish and animals to eat, and watching the stars and the sky. Using their cruel magic, the witches tormented many of these ettins to burn the innocence and joy out of them, but maim and scar them as they may, the ettins remained dull-minded louts that lacked any significant amount of aggression. But whatever torture couldn’t solve, a powerful supernatural curse could. The witches blended the blood of a werewolf with many of their enslaved ettins, and the results were more awful and devastating than they anticipated. Because of the dual-entities within the single body of an ettin, the cursed blood of the werewolf was twice as potent for the ettins. Whether by daylight or moonlight, these mutated giants are now permanently partially shapeshifted into the form of a wolf, with two grotesque wolf heads. These creatures, now known as the horroclopses, can even breed and carry on their cursed blood through their progeny, making them a fully separate species. With unimaginable savagery and resilience, the horroclopses pulverized their witch captors, and now roam the wild. They are a favorite horror story for travelers, for the sound of a horroclopse is unmistakable. The howl of a horroclopse, thrice as loud as a wolf, comes from two mouths at once, giving it an eerie chorus-like effect. Legend has it that on nights when the stars are shining brightly, a tiny remnant of the stupid, peaceful ettins that the horroclopses once were will seep into their conscious, and they will sit, watch the stars, and softly growl to themselves as though they were trying to sing.

Sar-Issus' Guardian
Tier 7 Neutral

Near his death, Sar Issus knew that his relics shouldn't fall in bad hands, so he decided to burry them with himself, in his crypt. But he also needed a guardian, so he used his magic to fusion and strenghten 2 creatures with totally different powers in order to get the best of both : the snow tiger and the fire lion. Able to handle both the power of ice and fire, Sar Issus' Guardian is a formidable opponent.

ability :
-Immune to cold
-Immune to fire
-Fire trail
-Cold aura
-Double attack special

Fire trail : this creature leaves a firewall behind him when moving
Cold aura : any creature not immune to cold standing near this creature loses some attack, defense and initiative points (it's kinda similar to the mephitic aura)
Double attack special : This creature attacks twice in the round. the 1st attack as a chance to freeze the enemy, making him lose a bit of initiative as well as his retaliation, and increasing the damage he will receive during a turn. The 2nd attack may burn him, inflicting additionnal fire damage during 3 rounds.
the double attack occurs at the retaliation too.

Physical appearance :
basically, the left part of the body looks like the rakshasa, except red / orange, and covered with fire and with only one arm.

the right part of it looks like that :

I'm not able to make a picture of the creature which looks good lol.
oh yes, my creature looks like a normal humanoid, with 2 feet, 2 arms, a body and one head. basically, you take the right half of fenrir and stick it to the left half of the rakshasa.

Congrats Fauch

And I thought you are on 3rd TSOD? This is how I understand:

1st - Fauch
2nd - tie between Asheera and Sith
3rd - TSOD
4th - Blizzardboy

btw, being on the last place doesn't mean that your creature wasn't good... somebody will be on the last place every time, and it simply means that it was a little less good than the others (of course, it is subjective), not that it 'sucked'.

To Quote Mytical:
Quote:
Note, only a few points seperated 1st and last place.
So all creatures were almost equally good (from Mytical's POV)

Ok here's my next entry already, yeah I 'cheated' and started it a while back when waiting for the previous round to finish

Phyluth - Tier 4 Neutral (upgraded)

Attack:     8
Defense:    8
Damage:     7-12
Health:     30
Initiative: 21
Speed:      6
Growth:     4

Abilities: Invisibility. Chameleon. Hexing Attack. Rapid Strike.

Description:
Swift, invisible and deadly monsters - that's the perfect description for these extremely fast creatures, which originate from the Underground caverns where the darkness covers them and allows them to attack their prey unprepared, this being the most favored of their attacks. However, most of them adapted to the surface as well - their strange skin allows them to change into any color, and camouflage with the background. When encountering Phyluths, usually everyone starts going crazy and striking blows in every possible direction, but it almost never works as the invisible Phyluth is so fast that it can dodge those attacks and strike from the opposite direction. Even after the strike, nobody can be certain where these creatures are, as after the attack, with their extreme speed, they could already be far away from the victim. These creatures are so fast that if an enemy is slowed by a curse, they strike twice before the enemy even realizes this. The Phyluth's special claws and teeth also weaken the enemy by applying some form of curse on them.

New ability descriptions:

Chameleon: When being Invisible, attacking an enemy creature does not reveal the Phyluth (meaning going visible), and neither does moving adjacent to the enemy. In other words, once going Invisible, the creature does not go visible until the Invisibility duration has passed. This also means that the creature won't receive Retaliations when Invisible, and can't be targeted except using AOE spells.

Note that this ability is very useful because even though Invisibility lasts only for 3 turns, the insane Initiative (21) allows the Phyluth to attack a lot when Invisible.

Rapid Strike: If attacking a creature under the effect of Slow spell, the Phyluth strikes twice instead of only once. Both attacks happen before the Retaliation of the enemy, if there is any and the Phyluth is not Invisible. Note that if the Phyluth attacks a creature which is not under the effects of the Slow spell but Hexing Attack applies Slow on it in this attack, then the Phyluth will strike twice and before the enemy retaliates. Hexing Attack triggers on both strikes as well.

Ehm, let's say they work with Magic

After all, when Invisibility runs out they won't be 'chameleons' anymore, so let's say that this Magic that gives them 'Improved Invisibility' actually runs out after some time.
