Wow, such lack of respect here. Instead of making jokes and seeming like you don't really care, could you just don't post?. I am pretty sure that if you were to make a leaving thread, you wouldn't like it if people starting joking around and not caring.

When people make "I'm leaving" threads, they're usually just looking for attention. When people really leave, they don't make a thread about it; they just start posting less and less, until they disappear.

A lot of members who make "I'm leaving" threads end up not leaving, or come back. Now, if it's just to explain a long absence (like he's going somewhere), it makes sense. But to say, "I'm not going on HC anymore because I don't want to" after being an active member for a long time, that's just looking for attention. No one does that.

Maybe, just maybe, you could be a little nicer to people for once, instead of always trying to start something. You didn't need to say what you said in your original post and you could have just not clicked the 'reply button'. I think that would have been better since I am sure you wouldn't like it if someone said that you were wanting attention if you wanted to leave. I am 100% positive Genielord is not doing this for attention and it isn't really any of your business to know where he is going and what he is doing.
He just wanted everyone to know that he is going. That should be all there is to it.
