@LuckyDwarf: Well, it really depends on how high your standards are. You should know that there's nothing that's actually new on this game and that I have very high standards. There are some major flaws that makes me dislike this game. But it is very alike to NWN and have some nice combats (sometimes) and a lot better graphics
What is it you're looking for in the game?

Well, the story is nothing special. How ever there's a lot of interesting lore and details (that really doesn't effect anything).
I haven't been with the dwarves yet.
And yes, there's some jokes and references.
The best thing in my eyes are some of the characters as well as the voice acting. It has a very high standard for a game. Just listen to Alistair!

Looks kickass.
But I can't decide between a city elf rogue or dwarf noble warrior. I mean, I finished their beginnings, I just can't decide and I don't think I'll play with both simultaneously.
I preferred the beginning for the dwarf, and there might be some awesome storyline details about it afterwards, but then again, as a dwarf, I can't make passes with all those hot chicks and I can't be a bard. The rogue also looks interesting to play as a class.
What do you guys think?

I see you haven't been charged by a dog then! It is a truly frightening scenario and as soon as they are above you, you're enterily powerless.
Good times. Good times.

Here is an interesting take on dragon age. I'm not so sure you can say DA is superior but it certainly has a warm spot in my heart and yes it does seem to have improvements in just about every rpg field. Graphics may not be top spot but they look lovely, artistic, companions are well designed and fleshed out, dialogues are in cutscene format and you can see their reactions/animations, companions randomly initiate dialogues with each other and have their insights according to the situation - though they don't help you like they would in nvw2, there is humour in the game and I have often chuckled at some lines, even better it has.. a human touch. It's one of the things I enjoyed in the witcher, there are times when it's not just about the storyline moving forward, Shani will arrange a party, when Geralt is down his buddies will take him out for a drink.. When Leliana started singing an old ballad I was pleasantly surprised - it was beautiful. The romance was nicely designed as well - at least until the point I've seen - it's a dynamic thing.
One thing I don't much like is that when you hit close to 100 influence it says love. As if you have to like 100% what someone says to love him. I've also seen criticism about bioware making you a companion babysitter and while it's annoying when most of the time your actions give you support with one, lose you support from the other companions aren't we being childish? What did you expect, more or less everyone judges you from what you say, you just don't see +3 or -2 in rl.. People tend to forget this is roleplaying, you play for yourself, not to please the others unless the character you roleplay is that way. I feel this generation is a bunch of manipulating guys that JUST have to make everything perfect in their own virtual little world. At least you have gifts to remedy influence losses.
Anyways what do you think so far?

I change party members before making a decission to be sure I don't get '-' with my combat party. And keeping a high rating is rather vital since it gives nice stat bonuses to your team.
That said I always keep my doggie as a tank (don't have to care about his opinion) and Morrigan to blast everything that comes near me.
Earlier I had Sten, it was easier to keep both him and Morrigan at '+' and he kept the aggro off me but now I got Wienne to constant heal my doggie and rejuvenate my mana (Fireball+Earthquake+Inferno combo eats a lot of it) but now I can't keep both of them happy. Sucks.
