Congratulations! It should take me a while to get there with army and all Hopefully my reintroduction to aikido will be smooth after 9 months of inaction, still I'm not gonna leave before fall so..
Edit:
Saw the videos, nice. I can understand the severity of the situation

Well... felt bored so I felt like talking martial arts.
Here's my style:
My favoured grip comes from the russian style of Judo, called the russian grip.
Once I've managed to get to this position, my dark work begins.
One of my most used throw from this position is the Ryu-throw (), Sumi-Gaeshi. As seen in the video, I also like to roll over and land on my opponent, typically following up with a hold called Tate-Shio-Gatame. I tend to use Sumi-Gaeshi as a combination after one of my other techniques from the russian grip fails.
If I feel that I can press down my opponent properly, I like to do a Khabarelli-Ura-Nage in my own style. I can usually counter with this move if my opponent tries any sort of leg techniques.
If I feel I have the room, I like releasing my grip on the opponent's back and go for a Soto-Makikomi, though my leg often goes higher and results in more of a Harai-Goshi with a Soto-Makikomi grip. It's the highest throw I'm capable of, if I time it right my opponent is often above my shoulders in the air, and I follow through by landing on my opponent and continuing with ground-work. This throw is called the Maxi-Komi by my fellow Judokas
I have a bunch of other tricks as well, but these throws are what defines my style at the moment

*makes note to never get too close to Ad without a knife
Khabarelli Ura Nage is so lovely btw
I've been getting back to training slowly after getting healthy.
Positively surprised that my upper body strenght has deteriorated less that I thought. Doesn't help much since all my leg strenght's gone and aerobic condition is snow now. Movement is SLOW. Can still do jap pushups and that's what matters, who gives a crap about movement, right?
Still, training as I have the time and chance. Not much due to work but some still. Aerobics need so much work that I'm discouraged to actually do anything about it. Hoping to regain some explosive leg strenght during the summer with a rigorous beachvolley schedule.
Now as my job's ending I'm moving and got to find a new one. Might leave me more time to train, at least I'm hoping for it. At least I'll have a yard so I won't have a problem with the space. If I'll have time is another thing completely though, exams coming up too. On the other hand I'll lack proper karate practice and sparring. Wonder if I could rope a friend of mine to become my sparring partner...
Oh yeah, I already told Elvin but might as well mention it here. I found a new nice elbow style.
Throw a straight punch(not a jab!) but don't advance. Then as the punch would hit(or hits) propel yourself forward and turn the punch into an elbow. I found this to be really tricky for the opponent to defend if timed correctly because it doesn't matter which side he dodges he's going to be in the line for the elbow. If he goes out it's a straight elbow into the face if he goes in it's a turning elbow to his ear/neck.
Only negative is if he goes back you can't do it but if he goes back he's just calling for a good straight to the face.

Nice vid thanks to Ad's vid in the other thread.
Some Taekwondo kicks, punches and elbows
Ppretty much the same stuff as in karate but they use longer loading whereas we prefer speed. The guy is doing sports style kicks, he hits with the feet not the heel, with the feet not the shin, etc but still the same stuff. Oh yeah, they jump more.

I liked the part where after he jump-knees the doll he continues beating the **** out of it with the clutch and knees and then finishes it off with the elbow

*cackles gleefully* You are so in my mercy!
I am actually feeling better about my aikido these days. It feels good to take the time and correct my posture, timing, the way I apply control. I can actually feel it and see how hollow my techniques were in what seems so long ago but is actually mere months back. One might say I am only beginning to learn and it feels good. At the same time I am trying to help others avoid mistakes I used to make, it's funny how one single moment's realization can trump months or even years of training. I have also reduced my training sessions to 3-4 per week

To all training guys:
If you went jogging (not too fast), how long can you run before you're exhausted?
I found myself at rather abysmal condition after 2 years of pause (I'm tired after 30-40 mins depending on day).
That's not enough for a BJJ training... I need moar ><

Eh, yeah, I don't jog.
For a good reason too, I absolutely hate it and it breaks too many places.
Depends completely on speed. 15 minutes for my regular speed, an hour for a slow jog.
I like to bike or play beachvolley instead. Neither won't break places(at least not too bad) and I can avoid the horrible dullness of jogging.
I do orientation at times though, the soft and uneven ground is nice plus you get to to something else than just run and run and run and run and run without thinking.

Uh I think it's about 15 minutes for me until I feel like I'm falling apart... but I know I can keep on going for at least 20 more minutes (while still having enough endurance to complain about me dying)

Currently I'm doing 30 mins of slow jog. I can run fast (not sprint, just fast run) for like 5 mins max. 2 years of not doing any training really hurts Unfortunately BJJ is very demanding stamina-wise. Much more than striking MAs.
Hope I will get to 1 hour jog soon and then start interval training Around November, I'm back to BJJ.

30 mins is too little, you need at least 45 minutes to make some decent effect. Preferably longer.

Well yeah, I haven't worked cardio .. ever actually. I've only used it as warmup before weight lifting and stuff like that, but I've started just recently running at least twice each week to get a better cardio. Soon I'm gonna run away from all you guys
