Does anyone has any idea about the typical size of winners when there is competition that is not divided in height classes (like gladiators or traditional chinese Kung-Fu)? I was watching a roman empire movie when this came to my mind, I always assumed they would be gigantic athetic types but great fighting legends are commonly described as "tall", not giants. Is this because it "looks better" when describing a great feat to have the odds against the hero or do you see some reasons why bigger guys would fall easier?

I know this is not the exact place for this question but I'm not going to open a thread for it. Does anyone recommends some channel (like Netflix) that is particulary good in marcial arts movies? There is a ton of films and actors I've been discovering in YouTube fight scenes that I never even heard about and seem not to find anywhere else.

Daily training. 
Blood Idk any specific channels but I can recommend good movies. Random titles among my favorites at the top of my head:
Ong Bak 1& 2, Ip Man trilogy, Eastern Condors, Shangai Express, Chocolate, My Lucky Stars 1&2, Police Story 1&2, Dragons Forever, Wheels on Meals, Gorgeous, Special Forces.
Of course there's tons more, but these I highly recommend.

Back in training and feeling rusty! I felt I was getting back in shape and then had to give up for 3 months. And prior to that I was away for a year. And prior to that.. For crying out loud, I want a stable training schedule already! Soon there will also be kali sessions but it is doubtful I will be able to attend. But then I sometimes miss aikido days(there are 3 sessions per week) so I could maybe catch up on kali the other days..
Did some weapon training too and I have to say, I've missed the feel of the jo. Broomstick action!
