If the big guy takes steroids all the time and doesn't train, he is most likely slow (he's still dangerous, though. Check Sapp again.)
If he is big, but also flexible and trains a lot, he is most likely faster then you can imagine

I agree. Fat =/= Big.
Fat - slow
Big - "normal" - that is, he can be both fast or not, just like any other

You make 1 major mistake here: You write Ninja. I cannot se why you can lecture people when you do not even bother to use proper terms.
There are 2 words:
*Shinobi
*Kunoichi
A Kunoichi was trained for unarmed combat, a Shinobi was trained in weapons.
And yet we got this awfull word called Ninja......... Maybe its a collection word of both, but its still a bad word.

Wrong, a kunoichi is a female ninja It has nothing to do with unarmed combat... In fact, a kunoichi is perhaps the most tool using type of ninja there is. Poison needles, blades hidden in fans etc...
You used the wrong term yourself
Afaik, the term Ninja can be used as the word "assassin", it doesn't really link to the word Shinobi.

If I used words as Shinobi and Kunoichi, even if I understood what they mean before you told me, nobody would understand anyway.
But everybody knows what "Ninja" means. Besides, urban legends refer to Ninjas, not Shinobi-s, Kunoichi-s or whatever.

Actually it does, Shinobi and Kunoichi was trained differently. And they are separate titles, yet they are both belonging under the terms of Japanes Assasins.
And tool using? Yupp. But they where usually trained more in unarmed combat than the typical Shinobi. And thus a huge difference.
Besides, who with a mind will go into unarmed combat when you got poison, weapons, traps, etc? This applies to allmost any assasin anywhere on the globe.
The chances of seing any assasin in unarmed combat anywhere is ridiculessy low, it is a assasin after all. Besides, trained Assasins also knew when to kill themself.

True, but you used the terms as if a kunoichi was only trained for unarmed combat while a shinobi was only trained in weapons.
The training is different in the manner that a kunoichi is trained to use her gender to her advantage, by charming and seducing her victims she is able to get very close to the target.
Anyway, using the term Kunoichi to describe someone specializing in unarmed combat would be strange (As we wouldn't have a word for a male shinobi specializing in unarmed combat). As well as Shinobi being a bad word for describing someone specializing in weapons.
A Ninja/Shinobi/Kunoichi is a versatile warrior, who uses the best things available to his/her advantage, sure you can specialize, but different situations call for different tools and techniques.

Ok, now seriously, I don't think you can be both muscular AND fat. After all, fat is when you are overweight and don't have strong muscles, right?

You can be both muscular and fat at the same time. They don't exclude each other.

I actually think that's superior to being slim and muscular, you have more bodyweight to put behind your strikes, throws etc.
Ofcourse, you got to have either good genes or a really strong will to keep yourself strong while at the same time being overweight.
And with fat I don't mean like Sapp, I don't really think he's fat, he's just muscles.

The best fighter in the world, Fedor Emelianenko, has quite a bit of fat. Not to make him obese, but he's not slim either. Definitively not a model. Yet he dominates.

Quote: Big guys can be as agile as smaller. Believing thick = fast, muscular = slow is wrong, it's just another urban legend.
AFAIK the more you weight, the harder it is for you to be put in motion. It's called momentum

Ninjas poor fighters?
Apparently you don't watch many documentaries about that...
or movies but I know those are "myths"
just because you probably heard of a bad Ninja doesn't mean they are that way. Ninja and Samurai were almost the best bodyguards and fighters at the time.
Also Ninjas are known for sneak attacks. And consequently, they are glad that you think they are weak (or anyone for that matter) -- underestimating the opponent is always a bad step. Don't let them fool you!

Well, tigers can reach 300+ kg of weight, but they are no less agile then the lighter lions, which average out at 200 kg.

Unfortunately.

Samurai were good fighters. Ninja were not.

There is a reason they don't exist any longer
Asheera: no, he's not fast. He doesn't need to be, though.
Fedor, on the other side, is fast, strong, and, well, to some extent, fat.
