Why not? Girls are generally boring. That's why. I know a few that aren't, but they are in serious relationships (as all interesting girls are, well, I was too slow in high school, wasn't I ) and I'd prefer not to get too close to them, better not to fall in an unwanted, non-mutual love

There. Fixed it for you. Most people are indeed of little interest, if not completely abominable. But I wouldn't say either gender has more boring people - I'd say it's pretty much even.
Too slow during high school? How? Surely those girls aren't still with their boyfriends from high school. If they go to different colleges, their relationship is very likely to fall apart.

Hehe, my best friend is of the opposite sex (and no, she's not my girlfriend...)
Personally, women are generally nicer... they communicate more and less closed. but what do I know, huh?
Also, I briefly read someone said religion interfered with marriage and such... I just want to say that one of Christianity's first messages is: live well and prosper/ be many.
How does that... Nevermind...

Don't worry everyone has their own "experiences" on how "women" or "men" are

I won't be wrong if I say they be more focused on communication, no?
Death, men and women are far from equal, so in general terms, don't you think that some would be leaning (through biological and cultural reasons) towards certain personality traits?

Sometimes. But that's the problem: there'll always be people saying "Hey, my friend/girlfriend is not like that!" so then the post/article has to put "in general" everywhere which somewhat nullifies the whole point of it.
Yes there are several traits and I would agree, but ultimately it's hard to "measure".

Hmm... from my experience, I have nothing against women in general, but it sometimes bothers me to hear the way they talk about each other negatively (it's not so much that they do it, just the way they do): "She was making me really uncomfortable, but I really know she's a snow - she slept with 3 different guys in one week. But I didn't want to be mean and say anything. I don't think she likes me." Come on. Seriously? She was making you "uncomfortable"? Boo hoo.
Wow, that came out a lot more negatively than I intended it to be.
But yeah, I have a few close friends of the opposite sex. Also, I'm no misanthrope. If you want to look at a misanthrope, look at Moonlith.

Mvass, you can idealise something or you can talk about how people abuse an ideology... But I tend to be incoherent considering religion. Suffice it to say that my quote comes from genesis
And the thing with how they talk: some of them are aware of that and I can get laughs from exasperting on that knowledge and i'm not even sure whether half of my words in this paragraph are correct!

I knew I said something wrong...
You know what they say is ridiculous or 'over the top'. They know that too actually. If you repeat it, but just a little stronger, you can embarass them, while having a laugh. if the girls are arrogant, all the better. And maybe doom means personality, when he says arrogant
What's wrong with a girl being overconfident? If they're... underconfident? Whatever, the opposite of overconfident, you have to keep building them up, which is a tiresome process. (very tiresome) Trust me, don't date girls with confidence-issues. Unles, of course, you go REAL deep (psychological, not physical level) and intimate with a girl, then that's okay, but there'll always be this kind of dependency, which... cripples relationships and I sound like Dr. Phil now, don't I?
I'll shut up, now!

I think most girls who don't have normal confidence are underconfident. The ones that seem overconfident are really compensating/covering up for their lack of confidence.

The same thing can be said for guys though Mvass. The guys who brag the most are normally overcompensating for something. Same with fast cars, how 'elite' they are at games, how much money they have..etc.
People tend to compensate for things (real or imaginary) a lot. I am as guilty as anybody. Heck when I wore heels (when i was female) it made me feel powerful . Just compensating for being really shy normally however.

Lucky you. I know mostly women who don't like to talk. If you go out with them, they never really participate in the talk by themselves, just answer or throw in a remark. Very passive, as if they had nothing to say. Most were like that, unfortunately.

Well, if you have to know. It's a boring story.
We were best friends, known each other's secrets in high school. I wasn't attracted to her physically and I was in relationship back then, so we were indeed just friends.
She had a boyfriend too, but she was rather cool about him; we used to joke about him (but not insult him or anything). That was considered perfectly fine.
One day he dumped her and she met a random jock, who instantly began to harass her. At first, she kept telling everyone how annoying and stalker-ish he is, but after two weeks, she was completely in love with him. Woman logic. Whatever.
It happened at summer, and once it did happen, she didn't care one bit for what we decided to do earlier, meetings, trips and so on, only the stupid jock mattered. I got annoyed a bit and decided not to care either. It was like that for some time, then, we both realized we should still be good friends because her short, stupid behavior means in fact nothing serious. Shortly after we "got back together as best friends", at her birthday, I made a joke about the jock and she got mad (ridiculous, since we kept joking about her boyfriends all the time). So I told her that she behaves like an idiot and it was just a joke, why to make big deal of it, but hell, I apologized. What happens next? Well, next morning, her circus clown of a boyfriend calls me and tells me he wants to beat the **** out of me. I laugh at his face (he's just a stupid kid) then call her and tell her what I think of such ridiculous behavior. Did she just set the idiot she'd known for 3 months on her friend, which she's called best and known for 5 years? Yeah, she did. So, let's say I told her how ****** that was and told her to get out of my damn life and never say anything to me again.
And the jock cheated on her anyway, and afaik, they are not together anymore, so it was even more ridiculous. Poor, stupid girl. What a shame. I thought she is a great person, but it turned out she was bird-brained.

Wow, that's really O_o. I'm sorry that happened.
I don't think any of my female friends would do something like that, though. They're smarter than that. (Although, one of them may start going out with a guy soon - but that guy happens to be my best friend and is almost exactly like me, so no worries there. )
