Why? Boredom (end of fascination and no love to follow); unfitness; Different priorities in life; Lack of real conversation and mutual interests; Fantasies that cannot be realized because of prudish nature of partner.. and so on.
Why do such unfitting people get together or even marry? Simply.. loneliness.. fear of being alone for the rest of the life (now or never; this guy/girl or nobody) or even in a short period of time in between relationships; urgent need to get laid often w/o the ability to get a partner when needed; low attractiveness or self confidence leading to inability of ending a relationship... to name a few.

Just had the following phone conversation with my gf.
She: "You do remember that it's our first anniversary the next month, don't you?"
Me (silently thanking God she reminded me): "...Of course I do."
She: "Yeah, so, I was thinking..."
Me: "Yes?"
She: "Since mom will be off to Prague..."
Me: "Mhm?"
She: "And Sofia (her sister) will be going out somewhere..."
Me: "Yeees?"
She: "That means I'll be cooking so you better bring a fire extinguisher and get ready to clean up the mess."
Flawless victory.
Can't help but love her.

As for me,
I had mixed feelings last time, but I guess I wasn't wrong.
She told me today that "after tests, she will have to get good marks, and will have even more learning than now".
Why doesn't that surprise me?
You know what's bad? It's that she perfectly knew about it, yet promised me she will have more time after the tests for sure a couple weeks ago.
Why the promise she can't keep?
I'm tired of her stupid game. I'm done.

Try it out, you have nothing to lose except your self-esteem and respect Besides you'll be better prepared for the next time when it may be more serious. Either way I don't believe in hooking up with someone just to become experienced but don't limit yourself because you feel uncertain.

I have learnt to trust my gut feelings, when the judgement is clouded they will shine on I always observe the little things, they say a lot about a person - that said I always give the benefit of the doubt, if I'm wrong I will know soon enough. Well, truth is, there will be always something for her in the way, and it's gone too far. It simply became ridiculous that she makes promises, then suddenly recalls that "she has good marks to get". Lmao.
That's simply not the way to deal with the person you care for. Period.

Nope. 16yo is not a child. She knows what's important to her. It's not the relationship, now I see clearly. She just needs a good... well, you-know-what - from time to time. Everything besides that feels like a waste of time to her, or at least, that's what her behavior shows.
And I'm too old for that. I want to settle down. No, not to have a wife or kids, not in the next 15 years  But a stable relationship, yes.

You can always marry a 15 year old, then lock her up in a cellar, have a daughter with her, wait 15 years, have a daughter with her too, etcetera etcetera.
Thus you end up with a stable relationship and a more or less constant stream of 15 year olds, for the small price of being Josef Fritzl.

Eww... like 40 years old and marry a 16 year old... you are still considered a child in my country then. should be atleast 18. Thats like worse then me getting married with my 5yr old sister.

Any fans of space simulation games here?
I've only really played one (Wing Commander Prophecy), but it was enjoyable.

That's a little off topic, don't you think?
Funny stuff. I met her on the stupid msn equivalent pretty late; Asked what's up and she told me she was going to go. I told her, ok, you're already 1,5h past your usual "I have to go" time, so stay 5 mins. And she told me that she of course can't, "too much work" 
She disappeared too quickly to let me tell her to scram.
Damn, I will do it today. I already wrote her that it's ridiculous and I'm tired of it - and that all I can do now is to thank her for our time together (which was kinda nice anyway ) and say goodbye.
Well, I still think it was worth it. The only thing that troubles me is that I will have to search again. And I'm not the best at it ~~
EDIT: She convinced me today to have a big talk tomorrow before the big decision (even though I'm 99.9% sure. ). Well, doesn't hurt to listen, I'm not the guy that acts all insulted and childish about something I don't like. I'll gladly listen to what she has to say. I'll probably dump her afterwards in a friendly manner, though, unless she actually gives me a perfect reason to all that behavior. No big deal. I can stay, I can go, it's 0,01% for stay and 99,99% for go atm
