Doom, people learn differently. My brother slid his way through school with 0 effort. I mean no studying or anything and getting great grades. The ONLY subject I could do that with was math, the rest I studied like crazy and still struggled to get B's. You should be supportive of her, and maybe help her study? That way you get the time together AND she gets good grades. Sorry guy, but you made it all about you when it should be all about the two of you.
My advice? Either wise up and realize the world does not revolve around you and help her out...or excuse yourself from the relationship and find some airhead who will make it all about you. She is being mature and responsable, so the question is..will you be?
I know we have our differences Doom, but you are an ok person. My relationships are not normal, so by all means feel free to ignore my advice altogether. I just think you are too wrapped up in yourself to see the bigger picture right now.
Edit : Sex is great, I am a big fan, but you really should build a relationship on more then just that.

Maybe.. I'm just thinking about all those married folks acting like "oh my career is so important, can't spare a minute sorry!" and I get a fishy feeling that she's like that too. People with career priority frighten me. Seriously.
But thanks for the advice Mytical. Any bit of advice is welcome.
Maybe I've been alone for too long and just want too much now. >_>

Those dreams are awesome btw. I've had quite a few of those with a woman where were exhiliratingly in love. Truly something worth experiencing.
But we just happen to usually have a tendency of slaughtering people instead of having sex. But it feels better than having sex so I'm not complaining.

It isn't but we tend to focus less on the sex and more on the slaughtering of innocent people. But the slaughter is usually a good foreplay, no better turn on than a blood covered woman.

I founded the club for insanity, but grew so crazy it could no longer contain me. Show of hands here. Who would give up something they really really liked to spend time with the one they cared about?
We're talking like front row live concert tickets, or whatever you are most into? What is the biggest thing you would give up to spend just some quiet time (no sex) just TALKING?

I don't currently have a GF but lets play that I did and cared a lot for her. If she asked? Depends on the reason. If she's in trouble? A whole lot. Just to spend time? Concert tickets yes but not any family celebrations.

winterfate, the longer you dream about it, the more unrealistic the dream becomes, trust me I developed a ton of stupid fetishes while not having a GF, like the big-round-butt factor, effectively diminishing my chances, since less and less women would appeal to me.. ~~
Oh and, you may expect an utter strong feeling after all that time, but it won't be like that unless it's the 100% correct person, you know, I experienced it myself and was annoyed that the fascination after all that monk-style wasn't THAT good as I thought
Well anyway guys. I think I had enough fun now with her. Even though she's good.. naaw, that's not it, it's just not, I'm too old for random nonsense, I'm not a teenager anymore, it's either serious relationship or nothing. I don't have the heart to dump her yet, but I'm pretty sure it will eventually happen. Our priorities indeed differ much, not just the "career vs. partner" stuff. Sad discovery, but better now then never. I'm content, though. It's been a great ride, and after all that lonely time, it caused most of the lonely void to go to hell. I'm free now to be who I want & do what I want, without the "I'm so emo alone" feelings. And I have to owe it to her

30 minutes a week is indeed terrible to be honest. That is hardly a relationship. Granted I haven't seen my date now lately for more than once a week, but it is still half a day that we spend time together then.
If I were you I'd play a little distant and see if she really wants to see you etc. But then again these things almost always backfire at you, lol. Why the heck do I always do those...

She's not ready for a serious relationship, that's all.
Guess you were right guys. But I don't give a flying **** about the course of the relationship now. I'm quite happy that I had a bit of fun, and I feel satiated now. Like I was young again Some might say my ego boosting process is complete, but I don't give a **** either. ;p
Now it's either a serious relationship with lots of care for each other, friendship-based (doesn't mean no sex, of course!) or none at all. I will no longer feel lonely for a bit of time, I think, and my judgment will no longer be clouded by stupid desires.
Sex-based relationships tend to burn out fast, or feel utterly incomplete. And without comfort and care, even best sex isn't good. It's missing something.
Oh well, I guess you have to learn it the hard way in life.
