Yeah, old Turkish films use all kinds of soundtracks without a shred of hesitation. In a melodrama about poor boy & rich girl, you can hear the Godfather in the emotional scene, James Bond in the car chase scene and then jump to the Deer Hunter for the finale, etc. The whole industry was so cheap and local, nobody ever bothered to sue for copyrights.

Yeah, it is even kind of a world wide cult movie now in the "so bad, it's good" category: Dunyayi Kurtaran Adam
Phil Hall of Film Threat gave the film a perfect 5 stars, calling it "jaw-droppingly insane ... a film that makes criticism moot."
Foleyvision, an Austin, Texas-based comedy troupe who showed films with the original soundtrack off while providing dialogue, music, and sound-effects live in the theatre, used Dünyayi Kurtaran Adam as one of their performances in 2004, providing what troupe leader Buzz Moran said was "the first English translation of this film ever in the world." During the introduction to the show, Moran stated that the translator had told them that "It doesn't make any more sense in Turkish."
