The manticore thing got me curious so I did some quick research on it. Apparently it is a mythological creature. Here is what I found on it.
"A legendary animal with the head of a man, the body of a lion, a porcupine's quills, and the tail of a dragon or scorpion. First mentioned by Ctesias, a Greek writer in the late 5th or early 4th centuries B.C. when he wrote a history of Persia."
I knew it was somewhere in mythology, just couldn't figure out where.
By the way if we really think about what the expansion pack is realisticaly going to have, it probably will not have any new towns or radicaly change any of the existing ones. Out of the 3 big expansion packs I have seen (including the H2 one), only one of them has added a new town (and it was much easier then), and none of them added new troops to existing towns.
I'd expect to see new neutral creatures, new artifacts, new terrain, new map feautres, new map making tools, and other similar changes. I would not necesarily expect to see new towns.

I agree with niteshade. There can be neutral creatures, artifacts, buildings, new campaigns and maps. Nothing radical. And I don't want radical changes in the expansion pack.
