I don't know about farcry 2.

Ive heard worshipping of GoW 2.And judging from trailers it seems to be good (to anyone who will come yabble about how godly GoW2 is:This comes from PS3 fan)

RA3 could be awesome (remember, it's coming from EA...and previous EA C&C's were large screw ups) if you are with us RTS fans, buy it.Otherwise I recommend wait until reviews come out, that way you know did it fail or not.

Well, I have both Titan Quest and the expansion and it's a pretty nice game...
The character classes are nice and the gameplay is somewhat like Diablo, which I like, but with better graphics.

True that, the problem with TQ is that it becomes too boring, too fast. And that you WILL need to get a new mouse when you finish the game

Well I finished it without breaking my mouse... But only in the first 2 difficulties...

And yes, it becomes boring after a while of continuos monster slaughtering, and some places are extremely hard if you don't choose the right character classes and skills, but I could always find a high-lvl friend to play with through these places (OK, you can call it cheating. ).

It think PvP is the only salt that WoW has. Some may said that raiding is it, but no, what other purpose you could possibly raid than getting better equipment? And usually this equipment is not even meant to be used for PvP, but raiding again. So basically you raid so you could raid even better.
Although, at the first time, it is somewhat amusing to go see inside raid instances but it gets dull very quickly.

Yeah I agree,  WoW is not a PvP game but its not boring either. With the new expansion and siege vechicles - PvP will be really rewarding (aka worldwide buff and raid boss).

Seriously, who ever starts a tavern? At first, taverns are started like this: You go into an empty house and yell: "Come to my tavern!"
Then you can do what? Wait for people to come and sell them beer? Honestly, there is not going be a queue for your tavern.

Uhm I have got 2 characters on a roleplaying server and usually, the city of Stormwind is crowded with taverns in the Park District.
I worked in one myself, the Phoenix Tavern, and it was CROWDED in our Tavern and we acctualy earned gold etc + had great fun (lol two Rogues came in and sold almost free beer and sold drugs... we acctualy had to get the "Stormwind Militia" guild to get rid of them).

I have seen several weddings,  I remember one very well.
It was a Night Elf wedding. We started outside the Temple of the Moon in the capital Darnassus. We had some cermony that involved Elune and everybody bowed to them etc.
Then we walked to the Ashenvale forest and the Zoram coast there and watched the sun go down and the moon go up.
We danced around the moon.
Then next day we ventured to Ironforge and had a great party.

I do begin to suspect that you never played seriously on a roleplaying realm... There is the "Violet Council" on my realm and they are all Mages only and do lots of fun stuff.

And there is a guild called "The Silver Hand II" or something like that (and they have a very cool tag - "The Hand... will become a Fist") and they are level 55+ because they are going to Northrend when the next expansion launches.
They also raid the Forsaken starting zone and RP in the Plaguelands.

This is what I liked about WoW when I had made my first character, going to new places and see how it's like. But you can't just go whereever you want immediately after you've begun your playing. You got to do it patiently by leveling up little by little so that stronger monsters won't kill you in new places because that's exactly what they're going to do. Monsters alot higher level than you, always critical hit you, almost everytime one hit kill you and they can see you from miles away so you may just stand somewhere and suddenly you notice some frikking bear rushing towards you in the horizon. And you can't escape because they're always faster than you. Then you're dead and you arrive as a ghost to a graveyard and you have to run to your corpse to resurrect just to step few steps after that and you're again being chased by some wolf.

Leveling and travel is barely a problem anymore. Now you get +30% more exp per quest AND all "leveling caps" have been reduced by 30% too -making you level +60% faster.
Travel can be done by mage portals or the new boat routes etc.
Really, there are 16 starting zones, lots of stuff to explore + there capital etc.
Plus the new Death Knight class starts immeditly at level 55.

+ there are "forbidden" areas
Like Mount Hyjal or the Emerald Dream.

But I doubt you explored the whole "legal" world. I have been playing for totally around 2 years (counting breaks) and still not seen everything in the whole world.

Quote:

Leveling up these professions is exceedingly tedious and usually extremely expensive and slow, but it's cool when you have max skill and people ask for your service to do something and they pay for it, although sometimes it gets annoying when all kinds of noobs start asking for your service: "plix! can u maek enchant pliXx?" every once in a while.

Well, the gathering proffessions doesnt require money or much work (you do it while you level). Its just the training that costs and its not really much. I mean, you get hides and herbs and cloth when you level and kill enemies etc.

And Wowwiki is a lie
As a member of Scrollsoflore.com - im an arch enemy of wowwiki! Seriously, they say that "Bunny Island" and "Leprechauns" exist in Azeroth. And the moderators are just so annoying and bad.
90% of the stuff there is speculation (although its not stated).
